The Ambani family is gearing up in full throttle for the upcoming wedding of their beloved son, Anant Ambani with his fiancee, Radhika Merchant in July 2024. The couple, along with their mega family, friends and extended acquaintances celebrated two grand sessions of pre-wedding festivities. The first one took place in March 2024, at the Ambani ancestral residence in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Their second pre-wedding festivities turned into a grand cruise ride from Italy to France, onboard an ultra-luxurious vessel. And now, Nita Ambani made her way to the holy city of Varanasi to place the first invitation of Anant and Radhika’s wedding at the feet of the Almighty.
On June 24, 2024, talented philanthropist and businesswoman, Nita Ambani was spotted at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, as she reached the city to extend the first invitation card of her son, Anant Ambani’s wedding at the feet of Lord Vishwanath at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Known for her impeccable taste for fashion, Nita looked resplendent clad in six yards of grace, in a royal pink hue. Her Banarasi saree featured stunning self-embossed motifs, dignifying grace and royalty in equal measure. During a small media byte to ANI, Nita Ambani shared her heartfelt feelings, as she was happy to place the first invite of her son, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding at the feet of the Almighty. She can be heard as saying:
“Bas abhi toh Bholenath ke darshan karne jaa rahi hoon, aur uske baad Ganga aarti karne ja rhi hun, to I am very excited. Aaj nimantran patra lekar aai hun mere Anant aur Radhika ke shadi ka to bas shree ke charnon me ye mai aaj lekar aai hun dene ke lie.”

Back on March 1, 2024, we caught hold of a candid video of Nita Ambani, wherein she bared her heart out, about the wishes she has for her son, Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant. Nita revealed that she fulfilled her wish to celebrate Anant’s pre-wedding in Jamnagar to celebrate and cherish the roots of their family. And secondly, the philanthropist essayed how she wishes her son’s wedding to be an epitome of celebration of Indian culture, arts and traditions, reflecting the heritage.
Right after her pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, Radhika Merchant received a very special gift from her would-be in-laws, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Well, business magnate purchased an expensive beach-side villa in the Palm Jumeirah area of Dubai, worth Rs. 640 crores, which he and Nita then gifted to Radhika as a luxurious yet surprise gift. If reports are to be believed, the grand villa consists of 10 bedrooms in total, along with a 70 metre long private beach. Surely, such an opulent gift speaks volumes about the love Nita and Mukesh have for Radhika Merchant.

Well, among other achievements, hobbies and interests, Anant Ambani has a special care towards animals, whom he loves immensely. The country got a proof of the same when he established the animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara in Jamnagar, which acts as one of the largest safe house for tortured animals. However, if we go deeper, Anant’s deep love and care towards animals was something which he developed quite early on in his life, when he was a mere child. In an older interview with Simi Garewal, Nita Ambani had shed light on the same and mentioned:
“He was two years old, we were passing by Crawford Market and suddenly he saw some roosters, hens being taken. And he says, mumma, I want to take them home. So that was how it began. And today, we have, I think, 500 hens, roosters, goats, sheep, hedgehogs, squirrels, hamsters, all living with us. It’s quite funny because the rooster crows at four thirty in the morning and wakes us all up. He wants to grow up and become a farmer.”
