Apart from being a successful business woman, Nita is a loving wife to Mukesh Ambani, and a mother to Akash, Isha and Anant. Moreover, she is a doting grandmother to her grandkids, Prithvi Akash Ambani, Krishna Piramal and Aadiya Piramal. Recently, she talked about her role as a grandmother.
Nita Ambani is a loving grandmother to her beautiful grandkids, Prithvi, Krishna and Aaditya. Recently, in an interview with The Week magazine, she opened up about her role as a grandparent. Talking about the same, she mentioned that as a grandmother, her only job is to give unconditional love to her little munchkins. Nita also revealed how her elder son, Akash keeps on reminding her that she is not the mother. Calling herself a hands-on grandmother, Nita stated that she doesn't interfere in her kids' jobs as parents. In her words:
"Akash keeps on telling me, ‘Mom, you have to remember you are not the mother.’ But I am as hands-on as any grandmother would like to be, while also giving enough space to the parents to do their things. So luckily, I don’t have to discipline them now, that is the parents’ job. With my children, I was very conscious. My job is to give them unconditional love."

In the same interview, Nita also opened up about her children, Akash, Isha and Anant. On being asked if her kids imbibe the values of humility and groundedness like her, she replied that her kids are very grounded. Nita revealed that she and her husband have brought up their children with middle-class values. Further, Nita also stated that as grandparents, it is her and Mukesh's responsibility to transfer high values and principles to their grandkids.
Further, in the same interview, Nita also talked about her husband, Mukesh Ambani and shared that she is the coolest among them. The entrepreneur stated that she and her husband are best friends and they share similar values. Mentioning how she has an intergenerational home, Nita said:
"I think we are best friends. We share very similar values. We don’t have conflicts. We have an intergenerational home. I have my mother-in-law, my mother, us, my daughters-in-law and my grandchildren all staying in the same house. Mukesh and I are so alike. I think we have shared dreams for India."

In a video from Isha Ambani's twin babies, Krishan and Aadiya's welcome ceremony, Nita was seen arriving in style with her grandson, Prithvi. However, it was their fun banter that caught our attention. It so happened that when the Ambani and Piramal families were leaving for Antilia along with Isha and her twins, Nita tried to convince Prithvi to come with her. However, he was in no mood to accompany his dadi and started throwing tantrums. When Nita asked Prithvi to hold her hand, he didn't any head to her, she was forced to carry him in her arms. Well, the dadi-pota duo melted our hearts with their bond.
