Nita Ambani Praises 'Choti Bahu', Radhika Merchant For Being With Her Son, Anant, 'They Are..'

Nita Ambani recently appeared at the Harvard India Conference, where she opened her heart about the life journey of her youngest son, Anant Ambani. He found true love in Radhika Merchant and got married on July 12, 2024. They had a six-day lavish wedding affair at the Ambani residence, Antilia and Mumbai's Jio World Convention Centre. Nita, who is a proud mother-in-law, could not stop heaping praises on Radhika.

Nita Ambani praises Radhika Merchant at the Harvard India Conference

Nita was seen attending the Harvard India Conference, where she opened up about how Anant has been spiritual and has had his own struggles with obesity. During his fight with his health, he found love in Radhika Merchant. Nita while speaking about Anant's health issue also praised her, choti bahu and said:

"Anant is my youngest child. He is very very religious and deeply rooted in spirituality. He has fought obesity throughout his life. And yet being so positive and there he meets his life partner, Radhika. You just have to see them together. They are magic."

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani's love story

As per multiple reports online, Radhika and Anant have been friends since childhood and when they grew up, they had the same set of friends, Post completing their school, they went on their own path. Anant studied further at Brown University, Rhode Island, where he graduated, while Radhika went to New York University. Reports of them dating surfaced back in 2018 when a viral snap of them looking into the eyes of one another had taken the internet by storm. Both were seen wearing olive green attires, and the rumours became strong when the duo was seen walking hand in hand at Anant's sister, Isha Ambani's engagement ceremony, which had taken place in Lake Como.

Radhika was also seen at Akash Ambani's wedding with Shloka Mehta and was also seen bonding with the family when Akash's son, Prithvi had turned one. Radhika's, Arangetam ceremony was held by the Ambani's at the Jio World Centre.

When Anant Ambani declared his love for Radhika Merchant

When Radhika and Anant's wedding festivities were taking place at Jamnagar, he shared that he was 100 percent the lucky one, and there was no doubt about that. Anant even shared that he does not know how he got Radhika and that she has been with her for the past seven years. In his words:

"I feel that I met Radhika yesterday. But every day, I fall more and more in love with her. Like my brother-in-law says, when he used to see my sister, he had volcanoes and fountains going up in his heart, and I would say I have earthquakes and tsunamis going on in my heart when I see Radhika. So, thank you, Radhika, for everything."

When Radhika Merchant revealed she and Anant Ambani had got stuck in Jamnagar

Radhika, in a press event, according to an India Times report, said that when she and Anant were stuck in Jamnagar, it was more than just romantic moments. They built a crucial phase for building a foundation based on mutual understanding and shared experiences. She had invested in quality time pre-marriage and believed that studies showed that couples who invest in each other before marriage have higher levels of relationship satisfaction and are less prone to divorce.
