No matter how many days or months you had spent in planning your wedding, implementing it seems like a lifetime away due to the pandemic. But even the thought of replanning, rescheduling or even postponing the wedding is like harder to bear. In the virus-affected world we are living in, couples are setting the trends and proving that love finds its way by getting locked in foreverness with an intimate wedding ceremony. Nitin Reddy a.k.a., Nithiin, who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry, has proved his mettle as an actor by delivering some blockbuster hits. While he's riding high in his professional life, his personal life too, has been making the headlines from the past few days. Nithiin has been in the news for his marriage with fiancée, Shalini Kandukuri, who is an MBA graduate. Nithiin and Shalini have known each other from the last four years and while they had initially planned for a destination wedding in Dubai, the pandemic had altered all their plans.
On July 26, 2020, Nithiin Reddy and Shalini Kandukuri tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with only close family members in attendance. While the groom looked suave in a red embroidered sherwani by the ace designer, Manish Malhotra, his bride looked resplendent in an off-white and golden patty saree with traditional jewellery. As per the TOI report, the bride and groom had entered the venue wearing masks and posed for the paparazzi stationed outside. Nithiin and Shalini perfectly complemented each other as bride and groom and we wish them happiness forever. Nithiin tweeted his wedding pictures and captioned it as “Mothaniki oka INTIVAADINI ayyanuu.. need all ur blessings n love”.

The pre-wedding ceremonies for Nithiin Reddy and Shalini Kandukuri had begun a few days before their wedding with an engagement ceremony, mehendi and sangeet night. For her engagement ceremony, Shalini had opted for a lotus pink lehenga set by Vaishali Agarwal and for another look of the ceremony, Shalini had stunned in a Sabyasachi red saree which she had accentuated with a kamarbandh and choker set. Nithiin had posted his 'just-engaged' picture and had written, "Aaaand ENGAGED!!" followed by heart emoticons. For the mehendi-cum-sangeet ceremony, Nithiin Reddy and Shalini Kandukuri had opted for Shantanu and Nikhil outfits. While Shalini had made us swoon in her lehenga in shades of pink, Nithiin had stolen the limelight in his royal blue sherwani. the mehendi design of Shalini has been going viral on the internet. Earlier, Nithiin and Shalini had planned to get married on April 16, 2020 in Dubai but due to the pandemic, they had postponed the plans.
In an interview with a leading media portal, Nithiin Reddy had spoken about his journey with Shalini Kandukuri and how love had blossomed between them. Nithiin had said, "We met through common friends and clicked instantly. I did not try to woo her. In fact, neither of us tried too hard. Our relationship evolved so naturally that we knew we loved each other and we didn't really have to say it out aloud to prove a point. We just knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. It's a mature relationship built on understanding and trust."
Nithiin Reddy wanted to propose Shalini Kandukuri in a hatke style and so he had unleashed his romantic side to do the same. Speaking on the similar lines, Nithiin had remarked, "So, I didn't want to do the usual drill of going down on one knee and popping the question or shower her with roses. Instead, I decided to stand on one leg and propose to her. I just wanted to do something different, funny and memorable. I guess it really paid off.
