Nushrratt Bharuccha has been hitting all the headlines for quite some days now. The diva, who was stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, has finally reached home. The entire country was in a deep shock when the news about the actress being stuck and unable to be contacted came. However, now, with the help of the Indian government and the Indian Embassy, Nushrratt is all safe and sound. And finally, she reacted to the same and shared her experience of being in a warzone.
On October 9, 2023, Nushrratt Bharuccha took to her Instagram handle and shared her experience of being stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war with the Hamas militant group. The actress shared a series of picture notes and revealed what it was like to be not able to contact anyone for help. Nushrratt shared that she and her team had flown down to Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival, and everything was all fun until the morning of October 7, 2023. Further, in her note, Nushrratt mentioned that she woke up to horrifying sounds of bombs and there was a panic situation in the hotel where she was staying. The actress added she was in the hotel's basement, and only after coming out of the place did she learn about Israel being under attack. Nushrratt stated that her team's first impulse was to contact the Indian Embassy, however, the constant bombing made it impossible.
Nushrratt added that they were in a complete terror because they had no idea about the escalating situation outside. The actress added that though they were stuck in a difficult situation, they even got all the help and guidance from the Indian and Israeli embassies. Adding how they somehow gathered all the courage to reach the airport and take any flight out to any country, Nushrratt stated that their journey from the hotel to the airport was not easy.

Nushrratt also mentioned how every minute delay in their flight was making their hearts sink. Concluding her note, the actress added that she is grateful to the government of India and the embassies for helping her and safely bringing her back to home.
Nushrratt also dropped a video on her IG handle and expressed her gratitude for all her wishes. The actress mentioned now that she is back from the war zone, she feels extremely happy to be in a country like India, where she is safe and protected.

Earlier, Nushrratt Bharuccha's team had issued a statement and informed everyone that the actress had been stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war. As per a report in India Today, it was mentioned that her team was not able to contact her. Mentioning that the actress had gone to Israel to attend a film festival, her team stated that the last time they contacted her, she was in a safe basement. The statement could be read as:
"Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed."
