Nyra Banerjee Supports Sonu Kakkar After She Breaks Ties With Her Siblings, Neha, Tony Kakkar

Popular siblings, Neha and Tony Kakkar's elder sister, Sonu Kakkar recently shared with the world that she has cut off relations with both her younger siblings. She had taken to X (earlier Twitter) on April 12, 2025, to announce that she is no longer Neha and Tony's sister and that she is 'devastated' to reveal this to her fans. Now, popular TV actress, Nyra Banerjee has supported Sonu as the discussion related to the Kakkar siblings is creating waves on social media. Nyra remembered her strained equation with her sibling and requested netizens not to make any speculation related to the Kakkar household.

For the unversed, Sonu is a famous singer and songwriter and, in the past, has had a close equation with her younger siblings, Neha and Tony. Speaking of Nyra, she rose to fame with her role in Pishachini and was also seen in Rohit Shetty's hosted adventure-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Nyra, during an interview with Viral, spoke about the rough patch the Kakkar siblings have hit and shared:

“Mera bhi mere bhai ke saath bahut jhagda hota hai. Humne bhi 1-2 saal baat nahi ki hai. After a point, you forget. You will come back again for some stupid reason. It’s okay. Let’s not popularise it like a divorce. Blood relations may or may not ever be broken. You never know."

Sonu's post on her fallout with Neha and Tony Kakkar, claiming that she was not their sister anymore, raised many eyebrows. Their fans were left shocked, and netizens felt that their fallout was a public stunt related to some new project. Nyra, going further in the now-deleted post by Sonu, shared that when an emotional and vulnerable moment arises, it should not be sensationalised. The former Bigg Boss 18 contestant then added:

"Yeh saari cheezein emotional highs and lows pe chalti hai. I understand divorce happens in marriage. Sometimes, parents and children also get divorced, but we don’t label it. Nowadays, everything has become a term and a fancy word. It should let it be. You never know; they can reunite due to some reason. Yeh publicise karke aap apne blood relations ko deteriorate na kare."

It was on the evening of April 12, 2025, that Sonu took to X to share about cutting off all relations with Neha and Tony Kakkar. Sonu shared about being separated from her siblings but also posted that she did not share the reason publicly with her fans. Her now-deleted tweet read:

"Deeply devastated to inform you all that I am no longer a SISTER to the two talented Superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. This decision of mine comes from a place of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disheartened today."

Speaking of Sonu Kakkar she has worked with her siblings, Neha and Tony on many projects. Her best songs have been Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo, Yeh Kasoor, Akhiyan Nu Rehn De to name a few.
