Popular Bollywood actors, Ajay Devgn and Kajol tied the knot in 1999 after reportedly courting for five years. They welcomed their first child, daughter Nysa, in 2003 and then their son, Yug, in 2010. Given their celebrity status, their children, too, rose to immense popularity. Among Ajay and Kajol’s two kids, it’s their daughter, Nysa, who has garnered much limelight. However, after receiving much backlash from people on the internet for various reasons, she turned her Instagram account to private mode.
On June 16, 2024, Nysa wished her dad, Ajay Devgn, on Father’s Day with a throwback video featuring herself and her mommy, Kajol. In the video, which the actor reposted on his Instagram stories, a baby Nysa was seen sitting on her mother’s lap. The actress was heard asking her daughter to say some lines. First, she said, “Say Jai Mata Di”, and the little one repeated after her.

Next, Kajol asked her daughter to repeat “Om Namah Shivay,” and she cutely followed it. Lastly, the actress asked Nysa to say, “Papa, I love you,” and she adorably repeated the exact words. Sharing this adorable video on her IG stories, Nysa penned, “Happy Father’s Day, Papa, I love you,” followed by several smiling faces with heart emojis. Meanwhile, Ajay reposted the video with a cute message for his daughter, which can be read as:
“Brownie points for baby Nysa.”

During his appearance on the popular talk show, Koffee With Karan season 8, Ajay Devgn opened up about his daughter, Nysa, facing immense trolling on social media. He said that neither his Nysa nor he liked the backlash that she faced. However, Ajay added that just because a few people think like that doesn’t mean the whole world talks rubbish. In his words:
“Of course, she doesn’t like it, I don’t like it, but you can’t change it, so you live with it. A few people talking rubbish about you does not mean that the whole world thinks the same about you. Otherwise, social media doesn’t work. You write good things about people, but nobody is interested in reading it.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with India Today, Kajol revealed if her daughter has any plans to join the film industry. The actress clearly stated that Nysa has no such plans at the moment. Kajol also added that her daughter has been more focused on her studies, and having fun at such a young age.
