Pahalgam Victim Shubham's Brother Recalls Getting Call From Bhabhi After His Demise 'She Screamed..'

The Pahalgam attack has left the entire nation heartbroken. For the unversed, it was on April 22, 2025, when a group of Pakistani terrorists shot down 25 Hindu men, along with a foreigner. India has given response to this act through Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, when a total of 9 terror sites had been destroyed in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Amid this, one of the victims of Pahalgam, Shubham Dwivedi's brother, Saurabh revealed their family's condition, along with recalling the horrific day of April 22, 2025.

Talking to the Humans Of Bombay, Shubham Dwivedi's brother, Saurabh shared that one phone call on April 22, 2025, turned their world upside down. He said that the call was from none other than his sister-in-law, i.e. Shubham's newly-married wife, Aishanya. Saurabh mentioned that she just called and said that someone had shot Shubham down. Aishanya remained unresponsive to several questions that were being asked of her by their family after they were informed about Shubham's condition. Aishanya kept saying that someone had shot her husband down.

In the same interview, Shubham Dwivedi's brother, Saurabh revealed that his brother had gotten married only two months before, and he was on a trip to Pahalgam with his wife and 11 family members. Saurabh also stated how the couple enjoyed their time in Kashmir, and that's when on April 22, 2025, destiny provided them with a major blow in disguise of brutality. He said that his bhai and bhabhi went on horse riding on that day and ate Maggi, that's when the terrorists appeared before them and shot Shubham down with an AK47.

Saurabh shared that his bhabhi kept screaming, but no one helped her, and within two months of her marriage, her world shattered. Saurabh mentioned that he always wanted to be like his brother, Shubham, who was full of life and wanted to explore the world with his wife and had even been to China and Indonesia. Revealing their family's condition, Saurabh mentioned that 3 weeks have passed, but the pain lingers still, and they are not sure whether they would ever be able to get over this.

Shubham Dwivedi's wife, Aishanya reacts to Operation Sindoor

On May 7, 2025, Operation Sindoor has taken place. India Armed Forces launched this operation to give response to the inhuman act of the Pahalgam attack. The victims' families had praised the same, and thanked PM, Narendra Modi for Operation Sindoor. Aishanya also talked about the same. In an interview with ANI, she revealed that she cried after she saw her husband's photo post she heard about the operation. She further thanked Narendra Modi and mentioned that her husband must be at peace wherever he is now. She could be quoted as saying:

"The moment I read the name 'Operation Sindoor', I saw Shubham's photo and I was crying... On some level, we feel that this was revenge taken on our behalf. Wherever my husband is, he will be at peace today."
