Another terror attack took the nation by shock on April 22, 2025, in Baisaran Valley, a scenic destination in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. It was around 3 pm when a group of terrorists targeted the tourists, who were enjoying the beauty of 'mini Switzerland', and opened fire at them. As a result, a total of 26 people were reportedly killed. Among the deceased, two were foreigners, and two were local, while the rest were Indian tourists. Such a terror attack again sent shockwaves in the nation. 

Shoaib Ibrahim gives an update about his and his family's well-being after Pahalgam attack as they were in Kashmir

For the unversed, television actor, Shoaib Ibrahim, along with his wife, Dipika Kakar was in Kashmir on a trip, which left their fans worried about their well-being. Recently, Shoaib took to his IG handle and shared an update about them. In his IG story, Shoaib revealed how fans were worried about him and his family, but all of them are safe and fine. He further revealed that he, along with his family had left Kashmir on Tuesday morning, which was a few hours before the horrifying attack that took place. He further thanked his fans for their prayers and concern. Shoaib's note for his fans could be read as:

“Hi guys U all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain theek hain, aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir.. and we reached Delhi safely…Thank u for all the concern.. New vlog coming soon.”

Shoaib Ibrahim dropped photos with Dipika Kakar from Pahalgam two days ago

Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar visited Pahalgam just two days before the incident took place. The actor took to his IG handle and shared a series of photos from the Mini Switzerland. In the photos, the couple was seen holding hands, while in some, we could also see their little one, Ruhaan. Well, the attack that recently took place took place at the same location, and it left Dipika and Shoaib's fans extremely worried about them. For the unversed, it was only a few days ago that Shoaib and Dipika had headed to Kashmir for a trip.

The incident shocked the entire nation, and such a violent act was highly condemned. The incident took place on April 22, 2025, at 3 pm, and a banned Pakistan-based shadow group, Lashkar-E-Taiba, offshoot, The Resistance Front (TRF), claimed responsibility for the attack. While 26 people were killed in the incident, 12 people were injured. As per the officials, the attackers might have entered in Baisaran via Kokernag, which raised concerns about the militant infiltration routes due to terrorists' cross-region movements. Amit Shah reached Srinagar after the Pahalgam terror attack, and he's currently involved in a high-level meeting with CM, Omar Abdullah.

Draupadi Murmu reacts to the shocking incident

President of India, Draupadi Murmu also expressed her shock over this terror attack. She took to her X (Twitter) and penned down a note, wherein she revealed that the incident was shocking and painful. She further condemned such an inhuman act, and expressed her condolences to the family of the deceased. Draupadi Murmu's tweet could be read as:

"The terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir is shocking and painful. It is a dastardly and inhuman act which must be condemned unequivocally. Attacking innocent citizens, in this case tourists, is utterly appalling and unpardonable. My heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their dear ones and my prayers for the quick recovery of the injured."
