The inhuman act in Pahalgam has left the entire nation furious. For the unversed, a group of terrorists attacked tourists of Baisaran Valley, Pahalgam, and shot 26 people dead. The terrorists reportedly targeted the Hindu men and killed them on the spot brutally. Several horrifying details are now being surfaced. One of the victims was Kaustubh Gunbote from Pune, who manages a snack business. The businessman was on a break from the hectic schedule he had been following for years to make himself stand out, but it turned out to be a nightmare.
Among 26 victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, one was the Pune-based businessman, Kaustubh Gunbote. Talking about her brother, Archana Devdhar revealed that Kaustubh first didn't want to go on a trip, but it needed him a lot of convincing to finally agree to take a break from his busy life. Archana revealed that her brother was hardworking, and he would always spend time with his business. Kaustubh first began his business in Pune's Rasta Peth, wherein he started manufacturing and selling farsan and he would take them for sale in the shops. Later, his hard work paid off, and his business flourished.
Kaustubh used to lead a popular snack business in Pune, which he built from scratch, and it has currently 16 franchises in the city. Talking about her brother, Archana said that Kaustubh didn't have time to go on vacations, and the Pahalgam trip was a much-needed trip for him. Sharing that she was the one to tell her brother to enjoy his life a bit, Archana said:
"It took some convincing for him to go. We told him to enjoy life a bit, instead of spending too much time with the business. He didn't even have time for a picnic; he always had a reason. The Pahalgam holiday was the break we'd been waiting for."
Kaustubh Gunbote's friends revealed that he had been very responsible since a very early age. One of his friends revealed that he lost his mother at a very early age, and that changed him totally so much that he never ignored his family. Another friend of Kaustubh Gunbote, who was also a bank worker, revealed to The Times Of India, that he had never met someone like the deceased. The friend of Kaustubh Gunbote, identified as Prakash, shared that the former was extremely caring and would always invite everybody to his home.
In an interview with The Times Of India, the Pune-based businessman, Kaustubh Gunbote's friend, revealed that he recently became a grandfather. Kaustubh's son works in an IT company in Hinjewadi. Recently, Kaustubh became a grandfather, and he was extremely happy about the same. His friend further shared that Kaustubh told everyone that he would start travelling now, and would spend as much time as possible with the kid. Kaustubh even planned a naming ceremony for the little one after his return from Pahalgam. The friend recalled:

"I remember how happy Kaustubh was when he became a grandfather. In fact, he told me it was now time to travel and spend as he could with the child. He was busy making plans for it almost every day. He was such a happy man. I know he would've made a fantastic grandpa."
