Despite the lack of verified information, speculation grew intense after Shiver locked her social media accounts, including Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.

According to public payroll data available on umsalary.info, her salary stayed at USD 58,025 for two years before jumping to USD 90,000 during the 2024-25 fiscal year, indicating a whopping 55.11% rise. This unexpected surge has raised eyebrows among netizens amid the firing incident.

However, there’s no confirmed link between Shiver’s salary change and Moore’s ongoing investigation. Regardless, the coincidence has added fuel to the speculation as the investigation continues. Though the university’s official announcement announced only Moore, emphasising “zero tolerance”, it strictly withheld the identity of the staff member involved. Meanwhile, Moore has been detained and jailed by the police.

Amid ongoing discussion regarding Moore and Shiver’s speculated affair, new rumours have intensified online that the latter might be pregnant with the ex-head coach’s child. The pregnancy buzz broke out when a commentary account, @BoNix10, posted a series of unverified claims on X.

The now-viral post suggested that Moore not only cheated on his wife but also got his “staffer” pregnant, along with claims of a forced abortion, a salary hike, and breaking into her house, among many more unverified allegations. The post can be read as:

“Sherrone Moore cheated on his wife of 3 kids, got his staffer pregnant, forced an abortion, stalked her, doubled her salary, held a knife to her, broke into her house, threatened suicide to his wife, but he was out here tweeting shit like this in 2012. The signs were there. We need to pay attention to what people tweet and post. Even what they wear on their shirts, they’re not joking.”

Moore has been married since 2015 and is a father of three. His wife, Kelli Moore, is an extremely private individual and is reported to be a loving spouse and an excellent mother.
