Was Paige Shiver Hired To EXPOSE Sherrone Moore And Have An Affair With The Fired Michigan Coach?

Paige Shiver is in the news due to her linkup with Michigan's fired coach, Sherrone Moore. While she has limited her social media presence, people who are keeping a close eye on the shocking matter believe that she was hired for a reason. It is now being reported that Paige Shiver has not been fired from the job, while head coach, Sherrone Moore was immediately thrown out of the position.

It was on December 10, 2025, when the head coach of the University of Michigan's career ended. He was fired, arrested, and jailed after he was linked with his executive assistant, Paige Shiver. The 39-year-old married coach's arrest is becoming clearer. However, another theory claims that it is possible that Paige Shiver was planned to expose Sherrone Moore's unethical behaviour. One user on X wrote, "What if Paige Shiver was a hired plant by Michigan to have an affair with Sherrone Moore so they could fire him and not have to pay the USD 12 million."

Another user penned, "So why hasn’t Paige Shiver been terminated yet? Is it not a violation of her contract as well?" It is worth mentioning that whether Paige Shiver was hired to expose Moore or not remains an internet theory, and nothing has yet been confirmed or revealed by the authorities.

It is also worth mentioning that, as per The New York Post, police were called to Sherrone Moore's staffer, Paige Shiver, after he reportedly went off the rails when he lost his USD 30 million job coaching the Wolverines. It is the first provable link between Paige Shiver. After this, Moore was landed in jail. For those who don't know, Sherrone Moore was fired from his position as the head coach after discovering credible evidence that pointed that he was engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a university staffer, but the name wasn't revealed.

Paige Shiver worked as the executive assistant of fired head coach, Sherrone Moore. She was promoted to the role in 2024. However, she was earlier working in Michigan's on-campus recruiting department, and her duties included administrative coordination, team operations, and support in recruiting activities. She joined the Michigan athletics program in November 2021. 

It is worth mentioning that Paige Shiver has strong ties to professional sports. Her father, Jeff Shiver, is a veteran NFL scout with the Chicago Bears, and her uncle works in basketball analysis. Talking about her educational background, she graduated from Purdue University. Later, she went on to make a career in athletics and development. Earlier, she worked as a fundraiser and developer, which strengthened her administrative experience. A while ago, Paige Shiver was diagnosed with Pompe Disease, which is a rare genetic condition that requires lifelong medical treatment. 

Why was Paige Shiver linked to the firing of coach Sherrone Moore?

Paige Shiver's name came into the public limelight after rumours escalated with unfounded claims that she was pregnant. However, soon, Shiver diminished her digital presence, which further fueled the speculations among fans and football observers. It is worth mentioning that no official name was released in the statement that testifies that Sherrone Moore was involved with Paige Shiver.

Amid rumours surrounding Paige and Sherron's affair, many rumours claimed that the latter might be pregnant with the coach's child. It was posted by a commentary account, @BoNix10, which posted a series of unverified claims on X. It is worth mentioning that the viral post claimed that Sherrone cheated on his wife, but also got his staffer pregnant, and he had forced her to abort the child. A part of the post can be read as:

“Sherrone Moore cheated on his wife of 3 kids, got his staffer pregnant, forced an abortion, stalked her, doubled her salary, held a knife to her, broke into her house, threatened suicide to his wife, but he was out here tweeting shit like this in 2012. The signs were there. We need to pay attention to what people tweet and post. Even what they wear on their shirts, they’re not joking."
