According to a report in Pinkvilla, it is revealed that Pakistani singer, Ali Sethi has tied the knot with his long-time rumoured boyfriend, Salman Toor. As per the reports, the Pasoori Nu singer got married to Salmaan in a hush-hush wedding ceremony in New York. However, neither Ali nor Salmaan has issued any confirmation on the same. For the unversed, Salman is a painter by profession.

The report further stated that Ali and Salman have been in a relationship for quite some time now. The much-in-love couple first met during an art class at Aitchison College. However, many congratulatory messages have been shared on social media ever since the reports about their wedding went viral on the internet. While one user wrote, "Mubarka", another one commented, "He is too awesome to be just a straight guy. Yesssss Mubarak ho." However, many even trolled the duo and called their marriage, "Haraam."
Earlier, in an interview with The New Yorker, Salman and Ali had talked about supporting each other in their college days. Talking about the same, Salman mentioned that Ali was his closest friend in the class. Elaborating more on it, he said, "I knew I had found the person I wanted to be with for good." On the other hand, Ali revealed how he used to protect Salman in the class as he was the most vulnerable one. In his words: "I think we were all trying to protect Salman, he was the most vulnerable one, because he didn't have any defense mechanisms. I was the tallest person in the class. I was a teacher-pleaser, but Salman was guileless. When boys made fun of him, he couldn't fight back."
