A popular social media influencer and singer, Iqra Kanwal, recently held her lavish haldi ceremony where the songstress had a dedicated theme of DDLJ for her special day. The bride and her soon-to-be husband, Areeb Pervaiz, not only wore matching yellow ensembles for the ceremony but also had a fun shoot in a sarson ka khet.

On December 12, 2023, Iqra Kanwal took to her Instagram account and shared a series of pictures from her Mayun ceremony, which is Haldi. The singer looked drop-dead gorgeous in her yellow-hued gharara, which featured intricate embellishments and golden zari work. For the glam, Iqra kept her makeup festive with a nude and dewy look and peach lips. She completed her look with shell accessories and paranda-tied hair.
The groom-to-be, Areeb Pervair, looked dapper in his light blue-hued kurta and white pathani salwar incorporated with a matching chunni. The kurta had embellished patchwork, making it look all the more festive. The happy couple posed amidst a yellow-bloomed sarson ka khet and even imitated the iconic arm-stretched SRK pose. They captioned the post as:

Iqra and Areeb tied the knot in an exquisite nikah ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family. The couple opted for an ivory-toned bridal set where the bride donned a heavily embellished ivory choli with a white lehenga. The bride looked regal in her soft glam look, and her husband, Areeb, complimented Iqra well, decked in his white sherwani. Areeb oomphed up his look with a mirror-embellished chunni and gelled set hair.
