Famous fashion designer, Masaba Gupta is known for speaking her heart out and standing up for the right. The designer-turned-actress slammed Pakistan's ex-cricketer, Ramiz Raja, who made fun of her mother, Neena Gupta and her relationship with former West Indies cricketer, Vivian Richards. For the unversed, a video of Ramiz Raja laughing and mocking Neena Gupta for choosing Vivian Richards resurfaced, and Masaba made sure to teach him a lesson to him.
Masaba took to her X (which was earlier known as Twitter) and called out Ramiz Raja for his insensitive, sexist joke. She added that he lacks grace, and it was sickening to see him laugh on national television in Pakistan about something people stopped laughing about 30 years back. The ace fashion designer's post can be read as:
"Dear Ramiz Raja ( sir ) grace is a quality few have. My father, mother and I have it in spades. You have none. Sickening to see you laugh on national TV in Pakistan at something the world stopped laughing at about 30 years back. Step into the future. All 3 of us are here with our chin up. #ramizraja."

For the unversed, Masaba reacted after a video of Ramiz laughing at a racist remark against Vivian Richards went viral on social media. In the video, Ramiz laughed at a joke about Vivian's skin colour. A female comedian said on the show, "I do watch cricket matches, and my heart broke when Vivian Richards went into a relationship with Neena Gupta. I wrote a couplet, then. ‘Jo ladkiyan khud ko kehti hain malika-e-aliya, Unko fir milta hai Mr Kaliya.'" Ramiz Raja was a guest on the show and was seen laughing at the racist joke.
Earlier, this week, former Pakistani cricketer, Abdul Razzaq made a hurtful comment against Indian beauty, Aishwarya Rai. During the media interaction, Abdul talked about the team's performance, and he cited a distasteful comment on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He talked about the good intentions of the captain, Younis Khan. However, his 'out of the blue' comment that marrying Aishwarya Rai won't lead to good and pious kids left everyone in disgust. He was quoted as saying:
"Younis Khan had good intentions as a captain and it gave me confidence to perform better. Right now a lot of talk here is surrounded around the Pakistan team and the players' performances in the World Cup. I think we do not have the intention to polish and develop the players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen."

This is not the first time when famous people from Pakistan made derogatory comment against an Indian woman. Earlier, Pakistani actor, Moammar Rana called Indian beauty, Priyanka Chopra 'bhayanak'. He was in an interview with a Pakistani YouTuber, Nadir. Maommar revealed that when he first time saw Priyanka Chopra at an event and wasn't able to recognise her. He was quoted as saying:
"I saw Priyanka Chopra. I didn't know, we were sitting (at an event). A woman came and sat on the side. We were talking amongst ourselves. I moved forward and backward, wondering where I should go. After a while, she got up and left. I inquired about who she was. The person I asked told me, 'You didn't recognize her?' I said no. Turns out, it was Priyanka Chopra who was seated. "
Kudos to Masaba Gupta for calling out the ex-Pakistani cricketer, Ramiz Raja!
