Palak Tiwari is the daughter of popular television actress, Shweta Tiwari and her ex-husband, Raja Choudhary. The actress is extremely close to her mother and often opens up about their bond. Recently, she talked about her mommy's take on her career in her journey's initial days and their equation. For the unversed, Palak was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. And apart from her acting skills, Palak often hits the headlines for her impeccable style statement and unapologetic attitude.
In an interview with the ETimes, Palak Tiwari opened up about how her mommy, Shweta Tiwari has brought her to Delhi quite a number of times. However, each time she was involved in fashion weeks. Afterwards, Palak also revealed that Shweta was a strict parent to her as she was a haphazard teenager. Thus, without blaming her mommy for the same, Palak revealed how gradually she bonded with Shweta. Not only that, Palak also revealed how her mother advised her at the beginning of her career.

In the same conservation, Palak mentioned that Shweta was a strict parent during her childhood. However, the doting daughter didn't blame her mommy for the same and revealed the reason behind it. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress mentioned that she was a haphazard teenager, which was why her mommy couldn't trust her. But gradually, the mother-daughter duo bonded and reached a middle ground. Palak said:
“My mom was more strict as a parent when I was younger because she probably thought I was an extremely haphazard teenager, and I don’t blame her for it. I was a pretty chaotic teenager, so she probably thought she could not trust me. Over the years, I have earned her trust. We reached a middle ground where I was like I may not be the perfect child, but I am also not the worst out there, and she also understood it. I think that also helped me a lot.”
Further, Palak mentioned how Shweta advised her not to let her image down in the industry. Thus, whenever the doting daughter does anything now, she thinks of her mother. Palak also revealed that her family members, including her mother, aren't control freaks. Instead, they let the kids of the family figure out their career path on their own. Palak stated:
“When I started my career, she told me, ‘Naak mat katana’ and I feel like every time I am doing something, she is like, ‘What are you doing?’ (smiles). A lot of parents struggle with their kids figuring it out on their own. But I feel like my mom is the opposite of a control freak. Everyone in my family is the opposite of a control freak. That’s what I really like. She also figured it out on her own. Even when she does not understand my choices, she never judges me. She is more of my damage control person. If something goes wrong, her answer always is ‘Just relax, it is not the worst thing in the world. Worse things have happened, and people are fine’.”

Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, Palak opened up about her reaction when she learned about her mother, Shweta Tiwari's second pregnancy. Talking about the same, Palak revealed she felt very perturbed as a 15-year-old when Shweta told her she was expecting her son, Reyansh. Palak said that she was discussing the same with her mommy in such a way as if the latter had done a breach of contract. Palak further revealed that her mother, Shweta was looking at her in shock as she had no idea what her daughter was talking about.
