Singer, Palak Muchhal's brother, Palaash Muchhal, and fiancée, Smriti Mandhana, have been in the news lately. Palak was recently seen leaving a Mumbai hospital after her brother was admitted, and now his and Smriti's wedding has been postponed indefinitely. Amid reports claiming that Palaash cheated on Smriti with a choreographer named Mary D'Costa, his sister, Palak, has always been his constant support.

For the unversed, Palak and music composer, Mithoon Sharma tied the knot on November 6, 2022, and their relationship has been built on mutual trust, respect, shared dreams, and a respectful friendship. For those who do not know, Palak Muchhal and Mithoon Sharma's relationship had started off on a professional note. They had first collaborated almost way before their wedding on the song, Meri Aashiqui from the movie, Aashiqui 2, in 2013. Palak had crooned the song, and Mithoon had composed the music. The couple then worked on songs such as Keh Bhi De, Door Naa Jaa, Bandhan and many more.

Palak Muchhal revealed her bond with Mithoon Sharma is that of a friend

Palak Muchhal, earlier in an interview with The Screen, revealed that her bond with her husband, Mithoon, has always been based on friendship. She revealed that she enjoys doing things together with her husband, as she sees him as a friend. She had shared that her companionship with Mithoon has been the biggest blessing in the world. She loves travelling with Mithoon, and whenever they get time, they take off and explore. The duo also loves to gorge on veg cuisines.

Palak and Mithoon did not know that, despite composing music for Aashiqui 2 a decade later, 'aashiqui' would be there in their real life. Their professional relationship soon turned into a personal one. Despite Palak and Mithoon having the same profession, she had emphasised that their careers never caused any discord between the duo. The couple had an arranged marriage sort of thing, and Palak shared:

"But we soon realised that we had to be together; we were made for each other. We are unique in our values and thought processes and we have very clear priorities in life. If you find a partner whose priorities are as clear as yours, it’s a blessing. He has a heart of gold.” 

Palak Muchhal and Mithoon Sharma had an arranged marriage

Palak Muchhal and Mithoon Sharma had proper haldi, mehendi, sangeet, shaadi, and reception functions in the presence of their friends and family members. Well, it was not Cupid but the parents of the duo that got the jodi together. Mithoon, earlier in an interview with The Times of India, revealed that he had told his parents to speak to Palak's parents as he felt connected to her. He had shared:

"Even though we have known and collaborated with each other on multiple occasions, there was never any kind of social connect between us. It was only in the last one year that I felt a strong connection. So, I spoke to my parents about it a few months ago, and soon they spoke to her parents. Then they had a formal meeting, after which we started interacting more to understand each other.” 

Palak had shared with the publication that when Mithoon's rishta had come, her parents were very happy. Personally, she had always admired Mithoon and was happy to know that they were in a relationship beyond the professional, focusing on work. The thought of spending life together never came to them. However, for Palak, Mithoon has always added peace to her excitement, and for him, she has added perspective to his life. Palak has helped him discover various facets of his personality that Mithoon did not know. He credits Palak, who helped him meet his best version.

Palak Muchhal's Indore fans burst crackers when she and Mithoon Sharma married

Palak, earlier in an interview with the publication, shared that their wedding was a close-knit affair and reflected their personalities. The idea was to celebrate everything with people who mattered to them a lot. Mithoon had mentioned that their wedding ceremony was an emotional affair and their reception was an honour to their Indian roots. Mithoon shared that Palak's Indore fans, on knowing about her wedding, burst crackers and shared:

"We both are very proud of our culture, and right from the décor and clothing, to the food, we tried our best to celebrate our heritage. Though we kept the celebrations low-key, I learnt that in Indore (Palak’s hometown), there were people who joined in the bandwagon by bursting crackers on the streets. They (fans) were really excited about this development in Palak’s life. Yeh jo apnapan hain na, agar aap ne gairon ko bhi apna hone ka ehsaas de diya, toh phir aapse bada insaan koi ho hi nahi sakta."

Mithoon also revealed that his wife, Palak, has been known for inspiring people, and he feels blessed to have received a lot of love from Palak's mom. Mithoon shared that Palak's mom was very protective of her, and as she gave Palak's hands to him, he felt blessed.
