'Panchayat' Season 4 Trailer Review: Manju Devi V/s Kranti Devi, Romantic Angle, New Release Date

After winning hearts and praises with three consecutive successful seasons, people's favourite comedy-drama series, Panchayat, is back with season four. A trailer was recently launched that gave glimpses of everything that is to be expected from the upcoming season. All the fan-favourite characters are back with new and heightened drama. From the first look itself, this new season of Panchayat seems to be all about the Panchayat elections between 'Manju Devi' and 'Kranti Devi'.

Panchayat Season 4 trailer starts with 'Sachivji' and 'Rinki'

The Panchayat series has shown an array of different emotions in the show. From making the viewers cry out of laughter to having tears from the emotional scenes, the series has done it all. However, a romantic angle was missing from Panchayat. But from the trailer, it seems that season 4 will make up for it. The trailer starts with 'Abhishek' a.k.a 'Sachivji' strolling with 'Rinki'. Actors, Jitendra Kumar and Sanvikaa are back to reprise both their respective roles in season 4 of Panchayat.

The trailer begins with the two talking about the upcoming village elections and her mother standing up as a candidate. However, what caught the eyes of viewers was the familiarity and chemistry between the two characters. It seems that apart from election drama, romance is in the cards for 'Phulera's Sachivji' and that too with the village head's daughter, 'Rinki'.

Panchayat Season 4 is all about village elections and 'Manju Devi' V/s 'Krant Devi'

As seen in the previous season of Panchayat, women stand up in elections and become the heads, but their husbands are the ones in control of the politics and are called 'Pradhan Pati'. However, the Panchayat Season 4 trailer showcases that the women are the ones who are going to be taking the lead while their husbands take the backseat.

There is going to be a face-off between 'Manju Devi' and 'Kranti Devi' for the village council elections. Both these candidates are seen fighting verbally and physically in the trailer. A lot of drama is also centred around their election campaigns. 'Manju Devi', played by Neena Gupta, who was shown as someone uninterested in politics in season 1, has now become a vocal and passionate election candidate. Sunita Rajwar plays the role of 'Kranti Devi.'
