Plot of Panchayat till now

For those who don’t remember the plot, the journey of Panchayat began with 'Abhishek Tripathi', an engineering graduate who reluctantly takes up a low-paying government job as a Panchayat Secretary in the remote village of Phulera, due to lack of better job offers. The first season focused on his initial struggle to adapt to rural life, cultural gaps and his bond with key villagers like 'Pradhan Ji' and 'Prahlad'.

In Season 2, 'Abhishek' becomes more comfortable in his role and begins making stronger connections within the village. The story deepens with the arrival of political friction, especially with the local MLA 'Chandrakishore Singhand' and residents become increasingly dissatisfied with local concerns. The romantic angle between 'Abhishek' and 'Rinki' (Sanvikaa), 'Pradhan Ji's' daughter, adds a personal layer to the story. The season ends on an emotional note when 'Prahlad's' son, a soldier, is killed in action.
