The actress is married to Nikitin Dheer, who is Pankaj Dheer's son. Well, it was Pankaj, who, while meeting Kratika for the first time, knew that she would be his daughter-in-law. Pankaj tried his hand at direction back in 2014 through the film, My Father Grandfather, where Kratika and Nikitin were part of the cast. After meeting the actress and witnessing her talent and politeness, Pankaj found her to be the perfect match for his son. Following this, he approached her family for their potential marriage.

After Nikitin and Kratika's families met, the duo eventually started to get to know each other. Eventually, they bonded over their shared values and interests and realised that they were meant to be together. Niktin proposed to Kratika later in a cinema hall, and as she was taken aback, she couldn't reply, which gave Nikitin the wrong idea that she had an ego. However, it was back in 2014, when Kratika and Nikitin tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony, and since then, they have been growing stronger with each passing day.

Pankaj became a grandfather as Kratika and Nikitin welcomed their daughter, Devika 4 years back. Recently, the late actor's photo with his granddaughter also made rounds on social media. Recently, a photo of Devika with her entire family has gone viral. The photo was posted by Kratika, and we could see Pankaj Dheer being present there, as he looked the happiest. In one of the photos, Pankaj was seen playing with his granddaughter, and such a glimpse left the actor's fans in tears.

Pankaj Dheer passed away at the age of 68

On October 15, 2025, Pankaj Dheer passed away. While his family members have yet to release any statement, his co-star, Firoz Khan, confirmed the news. Sources revealed to NDTV that the actor was battling cancer for a long time. Another report on IWM Buzz claimed that the actor was admitted to the ICU back in March 2025, as his health deteriorated. As per India TV, the actor's cancer relapsed in the last few months, and he had to undergo a major surgery. However, he couldn't survive and passed away, leaving the industry in grief.
