Pankaj Dheer's Son, Nikitin Dheer Had Intuition Of Father's Death? His Cryptic Post Says 'Let It Go'

The Dheer family is struggling as they lost the pillar of their family, Pankaj Dheer, to cancer. On October 15, 2025, Pankaj Dheer took his last breath. His last rites will be held in Mumbai. Pankaj Dheer is survived by his wife, Anita Dheer and son, Nikitin Dheer. After the death of the veteran actor, Nikitin's cryptic post has been going viral, and people are wondering if he had an intuition of his father's demise.

Just few hours before Pankaj Dheer's death, Nikitin Dheer shared a cryptic post. He posted a picture of Lord Shiva on his Instagram stories. He mentioned that whatever comes, let it come, and whatever goes, let it go, as it is written in the Shiv Puran, but it is extremely hard for him to do. His note can be read as :

"Whatever comes let it come, whatever stays, let it stay. Whatever goes, let it go. As a Shiv Bhakt, says Shiv Puran and move on. He'll take care, very hard to do."

Who is Nikitin Dheer?

For the unversed, Nikitin Dheer followed in his father's footsteps and worked as an actor. He has been part of famous shows and films. He has primarily worked in Hindi and Telugu films. Nikitin made his acting debut with the film, Jodhaa Akbar in 2009. And he is best known for his role as 'Astika' in Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha. He has also appeared in hit films such as Ready, Chennai Express, Shershaah and Sooryavanshi.

Pankaj Dheer has been part of the epic saga Mahabharat and portrayed the role of 'Karna'. For the unversed, Pankaj Dheer hailed from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father was a famous director in Hindi cinema. And just like his father, Pankaj also wanted to follow in his footsteps, but god had bigger plans for him. In 1983, he got his debut film, Sookha. After which, he got his iconic role of 'Karan' in Mahabharat. By the 1980s and early 1990s, Pankaj Dheer had played many character roles. 

The actor is survived by his wife, Anita Dheer, who is a famous Bollywood costume designer. She has designed outfits for films such as Boxer, Ikke pe Ikka and Victoria No. 203. Talking about his son, Nikitin Dheer is a well-known actor. He is also married. Pankaj Dheer's daughter-in-law, Kratika Sengar Dheer, is also a renowned television actress. Kratika and Nikitin are blessed with a daughter.

Pankaj Dheer's death news left the entire nation in deep sorrow. The news claimed that Pankaj Dheer was suffering from cancer and he died due to it. An official statement was released by CINTAA, as they announced Pankaj Dheer's passing, who was the Trust's erstwhile Chairman. The cremation will be held on October 15, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.The statement can be read as:

"With profound grief and deep sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our Trust’s erstwhile Chairman and CINTAA's former Hon. General Secretary, Shri Pankaj Dheer ji, on 15th October 2025. The cremation will be held today at 4:30 pm, next to Pawan Hans, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai."
