Television’s cutest couple, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are on cloud nine as the couple is all set to embrace parenthood soon. From cravings to babymoon, the adorable couple has been posting glimpses from their pregnancy diary, and we love their cutesy moments. And now, the actress announced the news of carrying twins.
In an interview with The Times of India, Pankhuri talked about expecting news and revealed that her husband, Gautam wanted to keep the news private. Speaking about the same, she said:
“When we spoke to Pankhuri about this, she shared, "Gautam wanted to keep the news about having twins private. He felt it is something that the family should know and therefore we did not share it with everyone. However, every time when someone asked me about my baby, I always felt like saying 'babies'. Gautam and I are blessed that we are having twin babies.”

In the same conversation, Pankhuri also shared her reaction when the doctor told her she was carrying twins. Revealing how she manifested the same, Pankhuri said:
“When I was shooting in December, I did a test and came to know that I was pregnant but the doctor did not call me immediately for a test or a scan. I continued shooting and then had some complications, due to which Gautam and I had to rush to the doctor. And at that time, while the doctor was examining me, he said, 'I have to congratulate you twice,' and I replied saying, 'I knew it'. I had manifested this. I used to often tell Gautam how it would be great to have twins... we don't have to get pregnant again and in one pregnancy, you get two babies. So, when the doctor informed, I was extremely happy and felt blessed. Gautam, who was sitting behind me, looking at the monitor, was spellbound and had no words.”
Pankhuri Awasthy had an intimate baby shower ceremony recently. For the ceremony, she kept her look minimal in a gorgeous golden-hued saree with a scallop border. She styled it with a matching blouse. Subtle dewy pink and soft curly tresses completed her look. On the other hand, Gautam kept his look casual in a green-hued shirt with contrasting blue denim.

She shared the news of her twin babies in her baby shower. And the theme of the bash was dedicated to her twin babies. Pankhuri's baby shower had green decor with a giant board decorated with balloons. On it was written, "One plus one makes four times the fun."
For the unversed, Pankhuri is due in August 2023!
