The plot of the film revolves around a typical Delhi munda, 'Param' essayed by Sidharth, who falls in love with a Malayali beauty named, 'Sundari', played by Janhvi. The film strikes a perfect balance of romance and comedy through the lens of director, Tushar Jalota. While audiences were excited to see the fresh pairing of Sidharth and Janhvi on the big screen for the first time, let's find out if the film has lived up to the hype.

While some called the film delightful, others expressed that Param Sundari is a rollercoaster ride which perfectly blends romance and comedy.

However, the repetitive concept of two people from vastly different cultures falling in love was something that concerned the audience. Well, this is not a new concept in Bollywood, considering that films like Chennai Express, 2 States, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, among others, have already explored the topic. Nonetheless, it seems that the makers have ensured the film brings something fresh for viewers, and they are loving it.

Typical happy romcom (with a lot of North South tropes but well) #ParamSundari." A comment stated:

"A feel-good entertainer that works for the most part...Crackling chemistry between #SidharthMalhotra and #JanhviKapoor, along with excellent music by #Pardesiya, are its strongest assets. Contrary to speculation, #ParamSundari doesn't borrow from #2States, #ChennaiExpress, or #RRKPK…It charts its own course with a distinct flavour...director #TusharJalota handles romance and drama with maturity, though the post-interval portions could've been sharper."

However, not every review can be positive, and some users found Param Sundari to be a little too simple yet overbearing. A user penned, "#ParamSundari tries to be a fun ride, but ends up pretty flat. The writing stays on a very basic level, with only a handful of jokes actually landing.
