Recently, Paras Chhabra was accused by two young designers of the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. There were claims that both the designers had supplied clothes along with some other accessories to the ex-couple, but both of them had stopped paying them after their break-up. Well, isn’t it sounds interesting? Indeed it is, but what’s more interesting is the fact that Paras Chhabra had claimed that it was more of a barter system with the designers. Also, he added that he doesn’t think he should pay money to the designers and the claims are baseless. Now, in a recent interview, his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri, the actress had dismissed his claims of being in a barter system with the designers.
Recently, in a conversation with SpotboyE, Akanksha Puri talked about the much-trending controversy about her, Paras Chhabra, and their designers. The actress revealed, “Since injustice has been meted out to two young and innocent girls. I suggest that he should rather give that 1 lakh to them. Am I insane that I would enter into a barter deal? Does it look like I have Rs 1 lakh lying around?” Going further in the interview, Akanksha also talked about Paras’s remarks about the quality of clothes. She said, What a joke! I saw him wearing their clothes and shoes in most episodes and I am told by those girls he even recommended them to some of his inmates. However, if we talk about Paras Chhabra’s side, then the actor had also revealed his side in his interview with SpotboyE. When he was asked about the claims of undue payments by the two designers, he said, “I am not going to pay them as somewhere I feel their intentions are not clear. If it was clear between us before I went inside the house that we will work on a courtesy basis, then what is the money they are asking for? But my mother is telling me paise dekar khatam kar (My mom is telling me to pay and close the matter).”
In the same interview, Paras Chhabra had also reacted on his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri’s decision of paying Rs 1 Lakh to the designers. The Actor said that he would pay the amount to Akanksha but not to the designers. He had stated, “If I would have been out and the stylists would have asked for money I would have straightaway said, ‘No’ as it was a free deal.” Also, talking about the accusations of missing items, he had further added, “When I am locked inside the house and sending the complete thing back every week as that’s how we used to function, how would I know chize kaise missing hai? Aadhe se zyada kapde to main pehanta bhi nahi tha aise hi bhej deta tha. They used to send me Kurta Payjama jo main pehnta bhi nahi. Mujhe nahi pata Akanksha ne kyun zabardasti ye paise pay kiye hain aur ab ye stylists ko peeche laga diya hai. I will clear the due to Akanksha but not Taashi and the other girl for sure.”
Talking about the ugly breakup of Paras Chhabra and Akanksha Puri then, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Paras had said, "My relationship with Akanksha Puri was in its last leg before I entered the house. We were having problems from the past few months. When I was entering the show I told Akanksha, we will discuss these issues after the show is over. I don’t understand why she is claiming that she was sending my clothes and handling my flat and bank accounts? Akanksha knew that things are getting over between us and it was not because I had gotten a show that I was planning to break up with her."
