Bigg Boss 13 was one of the most loved seasons of the reality show. It had a beautiful list of contestants, including Sidharth Shukla, Paras Chhabra, Arti Singh, Shehnaaz Gill, Hindustani Bhau, Himanshi Khurana, Asim Riaz and Vishal Aditya Singh, among others. While Sidharth could bag the winner trophy after his startling performance on the show, he couldn't enjoy the stardom for long. For the unversed, Sidharth left for his heavenly abode on September 2, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. His sudden demise left a massive void in his co-contestant, Shehnaaz's life. However, in the past few months, the actress has beautifully dealt with her loss and became stronger. Now, as another contestant on the same show, Paras talked at length about his connection with the late actor, and also his thoughts about Shehnaaz.
In a recent podcast interview with Bhavya Singh, Paras Chhabra talked about various topics about his life. In one of the video segments, Paras was asked about his experience in Bigg Boss 13 and his bond with Sidharth Shukla. Initially, he was heard revealing how the late actor couldn't enjoy the huge stardom he got after appearing on the show, Bigg Boss 13. Following this, Paras talked about Shehnaaz's bond with Sidharth, which had developed during their stay on the show. Thus, talking about the same, he mentioned how Shehnaaz reminds him of Sidharth, every time he sees her. Paras mentioned:
"I think, for me, Shehnaaz Gill reminds me of him and I wonder how she'd deal with things as she would also get such comments from others and she'd be reminded of Sidharth Shukla daily."

In the same interview, Paras mentioned that he wasn't in constant touch with Sidharth after the show, due to the sudden lockdown. Moreover, he was in Chandigarh when he received the sad news of Sidharth's untimely death. Thus, Paras immediately rushed to Mumbai to attend Sidharth's last rites. However, explaining how it was extremely heart-wrenching, Paras mentioned that Shehnaaz went into shock after Sidharth's demise as she was present with him when the late actor breathed his last. An extremely emotional Paras revealed:
"I'm told that Shehnaaz was present when Shukla breathed his last and I feel to see someone with whom you connect so deeply in that state would have been very difficult."
Finally, Paras shared how he wasn't friends with Sidharth at the show's beginning. But as time passed, gradually, they got connected to each other spiritually. Paras mentioned how, with Sidharth's beautiful gestures towards him, he could form a bond with him. And while Paras was leaving the show with a bag of Rs. 10 lakhs rupees, he believed Sidharth would win. In Paras' words:
"We would sit till late night and early mornings and talk about Mahadev and other spiritual stuff and that's how we connected. This couldn't be shown on Television as they can't show much of religious or political conversations. That's why people often feel that they don't know how Shukla and I connected."

Unfortunately, the bond of the late Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill was a case of ill-fated, star-crossed lovers. They came together during their course in Bigg Boss 13. However, their unfortunate parting, due to Sidharth's untimely demise, left a big void in Shehnaaz's life and in the entire entertainment industry. Even after the untimely demise of Sidharth, the couple's fans have never left Shehnaaz's side, and are always upfront to shower all their love and appreciation on her.
Although Shehnaaz is always spotted with a million-dollar smile, her world turned upside down when she lost Sidharth in September 2021. Earlier, during her appearance on Shilpa Shetty Kundra's chat show, Shape of You, Shehnaaz opened up about the trolling she faces on social media, and remembered her rumoured boyfriend always wanted her to be happy. The doting girlfriend also mentioned that she would continue to do so, no matter what people say.
