Keep them informed about their body

The growing up years particularly the teens can give your child a difficult time and you should be prepared to deal with a host of questions. For instance, bodily changes (periods or hoarse voice) may leave them confused, but you must have a plan in mind. Talk about it and don’t shy away from talking about sex too. It is better for them to be informed than being misled by their peers. This will also give you a chance to earn the ‘we are friends, and can discuss everything’ tag. Answer their questions without making it look like a rant.
