On March 28, 2024, a grand trailer launch was organised by the makers of Amar Singh Chamkila. The drama will depict the life story of the singer as he attained massive success across Punjab but ultimately lost his life due to unfortunate incidents. Parineeti Chopra will be seen in the Netflix series in the pivotal role of Amar Singh Chamkila’s wife and singer, Amarjot Kaur.

During the trailer launch, Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra took center stage and mesmerised everyone with their melodious voices. For the event, Parineeti was decked in a black satin kaftan dress, which she accessorised with a dainty golden necklace and black pumps. Diljit, on the other hand, donned a white-hued shirt with a half-sleeved ivory sweater and black pants.

Ever since Parineeti got married, rumours about her pregnancy have been rife. This time, too, there were several murmurs ongoing after she opted for a loose-fitted dress for the trailer launch. Taking a jibe at the same, the actress shared a status on her IG stating that whenever she wears comfortable clothes, people speculate that she is pregnant when that is definitely not the case. As per a source close to the couple, Parineeti has no plans of conceiving any time soon and wants to concentrate on her professional front for now.
