For those who don't know, the Tinseltown is abuzz with Parineeti Chopra's linkup rumours with assistant director, Charit Desai. The actress always avoids this question whenever it pops up between her interview. The duo met each other during the Dream Team Tour in 2016. Since then the media mills and gossipmongers cannot stop gushing about their new found love story.
Recently, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Parineeti had opened up about her breakup, and had shared, "I have gone through one big heartbreak and I think it’ll be the only one. Honestly, I was a mess. It was the worst time in my life because I had not seen any kind of rejection until then. I needed my family the most. But if anything changed in terms of maturity, it’s all because of that. I thank God for giving me that phase early on in my life." (Also Read: Sarvagun Sampanna's Tina Philip Is All Set To Get Engaged Next Month To Co-Star From Another Show)
In the same interview, when Parineeti was asked about Charit, she clearly stated, "I like to keep some mystery around it. I don’t like to confirm or deny it."
In another interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Parineeti had talked about her relationship status, and had shared, "I’ve never accepted or denied anything. My family, friends, and everybody around know the truth, and that’s all that matters to me. I think the media expects us to make an announcement, but hey, it is my personal life for a reason. So yeah, no acceptance and no denial."

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Parineeti had talked about her linkup rumours and had stated, "While it's a little funny because a month or two back, my best friend, Sanjana and I had gone to Dubai and when I came back, they linked me with her. There was an article about me and Sanjana saying, 'Are they more than friends?' Now, a month or so later, this has come out."
She had further added, "I am used to such rumours. It's fine. I will, as always, never talk about my personal life. I will let it be. Yes, there have been many names such as Sanjana, Maneesh Sharma and more. So, everyone is there in my life. It's okay; I will only talk about my work and that's how it will remain."
In an interview with Filmfare, Parineeti gave us a hint about the most important thing in her life (we think she is referring to Charit) and had shared, "That's a secret. But yes, being happy is the most important thing in my life. Something, which I never gave thought to before. Earlier, I'd only think about work. I never concentrated on my life as such. I just went about shooting, travelling... But today I'm living life consciously. Like I must do these things today, I must achieve this today. I'm conscious about my personal life, which includes my love life, my family, my friends and my team and how I can keep these areas safe and good. Having a balanced life, is my priority. We can work like mad but post pack-up, one should enjoy a personal life full of friends, laughter and travel. Earlier, I used to work selfishly ñ in the sense I never cared about my people the way I do today. I had forgotten the importance of my own self. Not anymore."
