Parmeet Sethi Reveals Fighting A Drunk Man For Archana Puran Singh, 'She Kept Telling Me, Hit Him..'

Actors, Parmeet Sethi and Archana Puran Singh are one of the most loved couples in the industry. They are known for their strong bond and fun personalities. Almost a year ago, the couple gained widespread recognition and love, when they started daily vlogging. In one of their recent vlogs, Parmeet Sethi opened up about an incident from the early days of his relationship with Archana Puran Singh.

On October 24, 2025, Archana and Parmeet uploaded their latest vlog, in which the couple along with their son, Aaryamann and soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Yogita Bihani were enjoying themselves in Pune. Throughout the vlog, the family was seen exploring multiple food joints. When the family was enjoying Misal and bread at the Budhwar Peth, Parmeet cracked a joke about a sober man hitting a drunk man in a club. Hearing this, Aaryamann quickly asked, "Dad, how do you know that fights generally occur in bars?" To this the Dil Dhadakne Do actor replied:

"Beta, ek toh maine teri maa ke liye ki thi."

After hearing about Parmeet’s revelation, both Aaryamann and Yogita looked surprised. Then Archana confirmed it and explained that the incident took place during a trip to Africa. After that, Parmeet continued the story and revealed that a drunk man was bothering his then-girlfriend, Archana, which forced him to get into a physical fight. He was quoted as saying:

"Koi ek aadmi tang kar raha tha mummy ko. And I am talking about when we had just started dating. The best part is… Most women stop their partners from fighting, but she kept telling me, hit him more."

Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi's love story is the perfect example of age being just a number. Reportedly, the duo first met in the late 1980s, while working in the Hindi film industry and soon, they fell in love. Even though, Archana was 7 years elder to Parmeet, that never became an issue. Archana had once revealed that Parmeet had proposed to her, and overnight, they had eloped. 

The actress revealed that Parmeet's family were against the marriage because of the age gap. However, the power couple proved everyone wrong, as today, after more than three decades, the duo is happily married. A few weeks ago, Parmeet had revealed that their marriage faced a lot of ups and downs. He had even shared that there was a time where they thought of ending it because of regular arguments. 

Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube vlogs

Almost a year ago, in December 2024, Archana started her own YouTube channel, featuring her husband and two sons. On their channel, AAAP Ka Parivaar, the family often shares glimpses of their trips and adventures. Their vlogs are often filled with humour, warmth and love. Recently, actress, Yogita Bihani joined the family vlogs. In less than a year, the family managed to win a lot of hearts online and their YouTube channel has over 991k subscribers.
