Good looks are in their genes and there is no single member in this royal family, who doesn’t vouch for the same! Starting from Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi to the latest additions in the list, Taimur and Inaaya, every member from his family is a visual treat.
Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore’s children, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan have a strikingly similar nose and the rock-solid gene pool has been passed on to the third generation - Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. While Sara and Ibrahim were born to Saif and his first wife, Amrita Singh, he and his second wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan were blessed with Taimur. Soha and her hubby, Kunal Kemmu are proud parents to their little angel, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. And the prince-princess sibling quadruple prove, ‘It’s all in the genes’, just right!
Doesn’t the resemblance and eerie similarity between the Pataudi siblings astounding? In a podcast with Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra, Saif Ali Khan had talked about Taimur Ali Khan’s genetics and had said, “He's blue eyed. He's a genetic treasure trove. He is. He is got a bit of Rabindranath Tagore, he's got a bit of Raj Kapoor, he's got a bit of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, he's got a bit of Bhopal...I don't know, he's beyond me. He's gone. Let's see what happens.”
It was on Raksha Bandhan 2018 when Soha Ali Khan had given us a visual treat with Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu in one frame. The Pataudi siblings had taken the fashion to a whole new level donning their traditional best. We had loved the sibling bond reflected through the Rakhi pictures of Sara, Ibrahim, Taimur and Inaaya. Since then, Soha and Sara have been giving us glimpses of the family fun with group pictures to drool on, making us crave for more!
For instance, on Christmas eve 2018, Taimur Ali Khan had partied the night with his star parents, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, and his half-siblings, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan. The Pataudi clan seemed to have a gala Christmas time with family. Sara had shared photos of herself with dad, Saif and brothers, Taimur and Ibrahim. Kareena too, had joined them on the couch for a click. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, when Sara Ali Khan was asked about her equation with her brother, Ibrahim Khan and half-brother, Taimur Ali Khan, she had retorted, "Both are bundles of cuteness and equally naughty. Their naughtiness takes different shapes because they are of different sizes. Taimur’s still a child and I can’t wait for him to grow up to bond with him. Ibrahim’s 18 and we’re very close. There’s nothing about me he doesn’t know while I know just 10 per cent of his life because he can be somewhat shady (chuckles). My mom, Ibrahim and I are a close unit."
When asked if Ibrahim Ali Khan too wants to join the film industry, the big sister had proudly replied that he will be a better actor than her. Sara Ali Khan had stated, “He does and from what I’ve seen of him on stage, he’ll be a better actor than me. Recently he gave me a page from his play. I’ve no idea if he had got his lines right because I couldn’t take my eyes off his face. He’s that good. But wanting to be an actor and understanding what it’s about and knowing this is what you want to do is a journey. I think he’s 99 per cent there.”
In an interview with Hello!, Ibrahim Ali Khan had talked about his bond with sister, Sara Ali Khan. He had stated, “The relationship we (Sara and I) share is just perfect – we rarely fight and that’s perhaps because we have a five-year gap between us. On occasions that we do, it’s over the stupidest things. We are very close and love each other a lot.”
In an interview with the Filmfare, Soha Ali Khan had revealed how the cousin duo, Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu love spending time with each other. Soha had remarked, “Inaaya and Taimur enjoy each other's company — he's very curious and he keeps watching her. Sometimes the two will hold hands or touch each other’s faces. We take them to Amrita Arora's home, which has a lush garden with swings and slides, or sometimes at Kareena's (Kapoor Khan) home, where we're playing with Taimur's train sets. On other days, we take them to play football or swim.”
About the striking resemblance between Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and their age difference, Soha Ali Khan had shared in an interview with a leading media portal, “They look a bit like each other. They are cousins after all. He’s her elder brother. Hope he will protect her in the near future. Bhai and I have an 8-year age difference. But Taimur and Inaaya will only have a year’s. I hope they grow fond of each other as they grow up, become best friends.
