The wedding bells have been loud for the former contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. After our beloved Priyanka Deshpande said 'I do' to the love of her life, DJ Vasi Sachi, it was the season's OG couple, actress, Pavani Reddy and choreographer, Amir, who tied the knot on April 20, 2025. The Tamil television's popular couple got married in an intimate wedding in Chennai.

Pavani Reddy took to her Instagram handle and shared a video compilation of pictures from their dreamy wedding. The ceremony was a true fest of love, tradition and smiles. According to the reports the couple had known each other for almost four years before taking the big step.

For the big day, Pavani Reddy opted for a traditional yellow legenga by Thorkal Couture. The silk lehenga featured a broad, embroidered border with accents in red. She paired the look with a red, embroidered blouse and a double dupatta. The dupatta featured a slim golden border, one dupatta was draped like a saree pallu across her shoulder, while the other was pinned to her head.

Pavani Reddy was adorned with beautiful jewellery by Challani, which included a long necklace, a choker necklace, earrings, a small nath, a maang teeka, and a bangle stack. Amir, on the other hand, opted for a classic white silk dhoti and angavastram. The couple shared the image compilation on their Instgaram account with a short yet sweet caption which read:

"20/04/2025 new beginnings."

Priyanka Deshpande and DJ Vasi Sachi also marked their presence on the joyous occasion. In the snippets shared online, the couple can be seen helping Pavani and Amir with the wedding rituals. Priyanka opted for a green and purple saree for the event and looked like a gorgeous new bride, with her henna and sindoor. Vasi, on the other hand, kept it casual, donning a white kurta pyjama for the day, paired with a black watch and sunglasses. For the unversed, Priyanka gave her fans a sweet surprise by announcing her second marriage to DJ Vasi on April 16, 2025.

While Pavani was one of the main contestants, Amir later joined as a wildcard entry. The duo soon became close, and Amir proposed to Pavani during the show, which was followed by the controversial television 'kiss' that sparked a massive debate at the time. However, the two withstood their ground and stuck together even after the show had ended, and the rest has been history.
