Renu Desai reveals she wants to have a partner in life

Renu Desai, who prefers to avoid the spotlight, made a rare appearance on a podcast with Nikhil Vijayendra Simha. During the conversation, she opened up about her personal life and shared that she also wishes for a boyfriend. For those unaware, Renu and Pawan divorced more than a decade ago, in 2012. However, she has not taken a step in that direction due to her responsibility towards her two kids. In her words:

"Of course, I feel like having a partner too. But it's my sense of responsibility towards my kids that stops me from doing it. If I look at it individually, yes, I should have a boyfriend, I should have a marriage, I should have a life. But when I look at it from the kids' point of view."

Renu continued to reveal that she had got engaged back in 2018 after giving another chance to love in an arranged setup. But, she realised that she wouldn't be able to manage both her relationship and responsibilities as a single mother. Consequently, she wants her children to grow up, particularly her daughter, to turn 18 when she is mature enough to understand the sensitive situation. Renu explained:

"I'm a single parent. It's different when you marry someone and have kids with them. But when you've had kids with someone, it's a sensitive thing for someone else to enter the equation. I'm waiting for Aadhya to grow up; she's 15 now, maybe when she's 18 and off to college."
