Pawan Kalyan Tightly Holds Son, Mark Post Singapore Fire Accident In School, Bronchoscopy To Be Done

South star and the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, was seen returning from Singapore to Hyderabad on April 12, 2025, with his eight-year-old son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich and his wife, Anna Lezhneva. A clip of Pawan holding his young son tightly at the airport has now gone viral. The concerned father looked protective of Mark. The family returned from Singapore, and the clip arose after a sudden fire accident broke out in Mark's school.

Pawan Kalyan's son, Mark, is safe after the fire accident that took place at his school in Singapore. He was seen getting down from an escalator of Hyderabad airport wearing a white kurta pyjama. His son, Mark, wore a black hoodie and jeans, while Anna was seen wearing a brown kurta and black jeans. The child is now safe and has come back home. Pawan looked calm and composed as he held Mark and did not let him go even for a second. Pawan's daughter, Polena Anjana Pawanova was also seen in the clip. 

Dressed in his usual simple style, Pawan looked calm but clearly relieved as he held onto Mark tightly, not letting him out of sight for a second. He was accompanied by wife, Anna Lezhneva, and daughter, Polena Anjana Pawanova. A video of them from the airport has now emerged on social media.

Pawan Kalyan's son, Mark to undergo Bronchoscopy

Pawan's youngest son, Mark, got injuries on his legs and arms and also faced respiratory issues because of inhaling smoke. He had undergone medical treatment at a local hospital in Singapore. For the unversed, a while back in Mark's school, which is located in River Valley, Singapore, the second and third floors of the building were engulfed in fire. There were viral videos of firefighters breaking the window panes and giving assistance to students who were scared. Smoke engulfed in the classrooms, and reportedly thick black smoke was seen on the upper classroom floors.  Pawan in a recent media statement shared:

"He will need to undergo a bronchoscopy. The smoke inhalation may have long-term effects."

The fire accident took the life of a child while 19 others were also left injured apart from Mark. Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), and the Emergency Crew were seen at the location controlling the fire. The accident took place in a three-storeyed shophouse which was on River Valley Road. It is located at Singapore's business area where according to a News 18 report 30 kids including Mark were seen at the cooking, theatre, and robotics workshops.K. Shanmugam, Singapore’s Home Affairs Minister also shared that a 10-year-old lost her life in the accident while 20 others that had 15 kids were injured.

Pawan Kalyan to resume his political duties soon

Pawan, had paused his political work to be with his son in Singapore after the fire accident took place. On April 11, 2025, Mark's uncle, Chiranjeevi, shared that Mark was discharged from the hospital and recovering at home. Pawan is soon expected to rejoin his political work and will also join the final schedule of his next pan-India movie, Hari Hara Veera Mallu. It will release on May 9, 2025.
