Television actress, Payal Rohatgi gained immense popularity after her stint on the reality show, Lock Upp. Even if she didn't win the show, she was one of the strongest contestants inside Lock Upp. It had become one of the most controversial shows on the platform within just its first episode. During her stay there, it was her beau, Sangram Singh, who supported and encouraged her day and night from the outside.
For the unversed, Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh have been dating for more than 12 years. They had met on the reality show, Survivors India and had fallen head over heels for each other. After being together for so long, the couple finally decided to tie the knot and revealed that they would have an intimate destination wedding on July 9, 2022. Now, in a media conversation, the duo share fun anecdotes about each other.
In an interview with ETimes, Payal and Sangram were asked about love, desire, marriage and much more. And the married couple-to-be answered them with a lot of candidness. When the duo was asked what had made them feel attracted to each other, Sangram revealed that it was Payal's 'pagalpan' that had made him fall for her. On the other hand, Lock Upp fame, Payal shared that Sangram's eyes and complexion are both quite attractive. She said:
"I got attracted to him in 'Survivors'. I didn't hide that. We were sleeping next to each other in the sand. The attraction became a bond and I used to hold him and sleep. I don't get proper sleep if he's not next to me."
When Payal was asked whether Sangram is a romantic person or not, the actress was quick to reply. Declaring that he is a 'zero romantic', Payal said that even though he is not a romantic, he fulfils the criteria she was looking for in a man, and that is stability. Talking about what makes her feel protected, the Lock Upp contestant mentioned that it's not the sex but the thought that Sangram is around. She further added that when Sangram stays at home, she sleeps peacefully.
Further going into the conversation, Payal and Sangram were asked whether they fight or not. To which the latter quipped that it's generally 'one-sided'. However, it was Payal who clarified it and said:
"Not one-sided. Hoti hain fights, we shout loudly at each other but I don't take the fights to the next morning. Before sleeping, we thrash out our issue."
The couple concluded the interview by revealing their honeymoon plans. Well, it seems Payal and Sangram have decided to go to the dreamy destination, Srinagar, for a week after they get done with the wedding rituals.
