You Actor, Penn Badgley Gives Sneak-Peek Into Life With Newborn Twins, 'Don't Wanna Wake Them Up'

Penn Badgley, a renowned American actor, gained prominence with his portrayal in You. Apart from that, he is also a musician and fronts the band, Mothxr. Regarding his personal life, Penn is married to the singer-songwriter Domino Kirke. It was in 2014 when the duo met in a meatball shop in New York City. It was only then that Domino offered Penn a place to stay, as he was couch surfing back then. Soon after, the duo started dating, and in 2017, they got married after three years. The duo became parents to a baby boy in 2020, and Penn is also the stepfather of Domino's elder son from her first relationship.

Well, it was earlier in September when Penn and Domino revealed that they were all set to welcome baby number 3 and 4, as identical twins. And the couple has already become parents again to their twins. While they initially didn't announce the arrival of their babies, Penn recently shared a sneak peek into his life with his twins, discussing his paternity leave, and it's all things adorable.

Taking to his IG handle, Penn Badgley shared a cutesy video, wherein he showed his newborn's tiny feet. Sharing the clip, Penn said that he was interrupting his paternity leave to announce something, and he was whispering as he didn't want to wake his twins up. The announcement was about a live event which would take place on his podcast, Podcrushed, to announce the arrival of their new book, Crushmore. Sharing the clip, Penn wrote:

"I’m interrupting my paternity leave, which I’m on, by the way, which is also why I’m whispering. Here, look, wanna see baby feet? Just tiny, little baby feet right there. I don’t wanna wake them up."

Penn Badgley earlier expressed his shock over being a dad to twins

Talking to Access Holiday in April 2025, Penn Badgley revealed that twins were a shock for him and his wife, and they had been thinking about how it would be and what new challenges might arise. The actor also mentioned that while it sounded a bit tacky to others, he personally feels that the world needs more good men, and he and his wife would have to raise them the right way. The couple is parents to four sons. He also mentioned that when he and his wife saw the sonogram results, they remained in awe, seeing the twins together, attached to each other. Talking about the same, Penn shared:

"The twins was a shock. We were wondering what it would be, what would make it new.I do mean this sincerely, it sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, the pressure’s on us to raise them well. To be honest, when we see the sonograms right now, seeing them together, as an only child, you know, it’s very touching to see them already so together."

It was Domino, who, back in February 2025, announced her pregnancy. She, through the announcement post, revealed that baby number 3 and baby number 4 would join them this Summer. She also talked about the spontaneous twins being magical and expressed her and her husband's happiness over the same. Domino also shared how a doula helped her with her twin pregnancy, and how it's more about what she teaches about letting go of the outcomes and staying grounded in the mysteries of all. Domino stated that pregnancy has no blueprint, and it's the bravest thing to do to surrender to the ride.
