Kunickaa gave love another chance with Kumar Sanu, after having faced a failed marriage and coming out of a long-term live-in relationship. While Kumar Sanu remains a significant person in her life, Kunickaa has been a romantic at heart who didn’t fear giving love multiple chances. Coming to her growing years, Kunickaa was born into a multicultural middle-class family with a South Indian father and a Punjabi-English mother, she was the eldest of four siblings.
Kunickaa’s first marriage, a love story with a Marwari man 13 years older than her, came with its challenges. They had a son, but the marriage ended after just two-and-a-half years. What followed was a long, eight-year custody battle, but in the end, her son decided to stay with his father. She later went through a second failed marriage and a live-in relationship, each adding more layers to her journey.
Despite the ups and downs, Kunickaa came out stronger, focusing on raising her child on her own. Talking about her ups and downs in life, Kunickaa once said:
“Today, at the age of 50, I am in a very happy space. I have no regrets or ill feelings towards anybody. Both my ex-husbands are my friends. I am a motivational speaker and I share my life’s many experiences with others. I have realized that as you keep healing yourself, it’s amazing how happy you become!”
Today, Kunickaa Sadanand balances her roles with poise, raising her child as a single mother and advocating for women’s empowerment.
