For instance, take a look at the Pakistan Super Leage franchise, Peshawar Zalmi, who hosted a fun session on their Twitter handle and asked from their fans to describe Shoaib Malik in one word and it was his wife, Sania Mirza’s comment that won everyone’s hearts.

While everyone was curious about the baby’s name, the couple had delivered a name consisting of their surnames, ‘Mirza Malik’. Speaking about the same in a 2018 interview with the Gulf News, the star cricketer was quoted as saying, “We discussed this in the beginning and we both came up with it together. It’s not a movie, but a statement. My family history and my family name come with a lot of honour, which I celebrate with pride. It should be the same for Sania. Being a husband or a wife or a mother or a father should not change that for either. Having a shared surname is in line with how we went about when we got married. Sania Mirza remained Sania Mirza and was not changed to Sania Malik.” This is the reason why this couple is adored and respected by millions of people out there.
