On July 16, 2025, Elsie took to Instagram and posted a carousel with candid pictures with Pete, and it also included a sonogram image. She captioned it cheekily announcing their pregnancy. Pete Davidson recently made his first public comments about becoming a father while attending the New York City premiere of his film, The Home, on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Speaking with E! News, the Saturday Night Live star said he is ‘feeling very lucky and very, very happy’ to be starting a family. Davidson described the moment as something he has looked forward to for years now, and he called fatherhood one of his long-time dreams.

In the same interview, Pete opened up about his own upbringing, saying he’s looking forward to being able to take care of something and show them the childhood that he didn’t have. He added that he assumes everyone just tries to give their children what they didn’t have, and he would like to do the same for his kid. He said:

 “I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have, and what you didn’t like, not do it.”

Pete Davidson revealed that his close friends including actor-comedian, Adam Sandler, have shared many tips with him ever since the baby news broke. He also shared that Adam gave him meaningful parenting advice; he called it ‘great.’ The support from his inner circle has made the journey even more special for him. Pete said:

“They all just have been like, ‘You're going to be great at this.”

Elsie Hewitt confirmed pregnancy with a sonogram post

Elsie Hewitt, confirmed the baby news on July 16, 2025 with a playful Instagram  caraousel post that included a photo of a sonogram and caption that read, “Welp now everyone knows we had s*x”. The couple, were first linked in March 2025 when they were spotted in Palm Beach, Florida, reportedly they moved in together just two months later. As per the reports their friends say they are overjoyed to be starting a family together.

According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, Davidson and Hewitt are both ‘very nurturing people’ and are thrilled to be starting a family. It’s a really sweet time for the couple, especially after everything Pete has overcome, the insider told PEOPLE. Another source added that Pete has matured significantly in recent years and is eager to step into his new role as a father.

While making headlines for his personal life, Pete is also promoting his latest film, The Home, a horror thriller directed by James DeMonaco. The movie will hit theatres on Friday, July 25, 2025, and it stars John Glover and Bruce Altman alongside Pete. The actor's new chapter as a dad comes as he continues to make wonders professionally.
