While it is said that marriages are made in heaven, a wedding ceremony also needs to be perfect. After all, that is what we all look back to when we describe our wedding. Such was the surreal Cinderella wedding story of Jasleen and Hartaj. The pictures from the wedding ceremonies of the duo scream nothing but perfection. Jasleen and Hartaj were introduced to each other by their parents. When Jasleen and Hartaj had met, the duo connected instantly and knew that something special was brewing between them. Though the pandemic derailed their plans to get married, the couple waited for things to settle down before they embark on a new journey. Thankfully, things cooled down back then and the duo was able to fly from Canada to tie the knot.
The wedding planning started with a few seasoned distributors, who had perceived their imagination and ideas. Jasleen wanted to have an initiate marriage ceremony in an outdoor setting. The venue and the decor were selected accordingly. Jasleen wanted to keep the decor unique and distinctive for every occasion.
The venue at Amaltas Farms was lit up with fairy lights and was replete with blooms that twinkled softly. The shine and grandeur of the engagement rings were like cherry on the cake. Chandeliers adorned the place and all the relatives enjoyed the evening and witnessed the couple's first step towards a cheerful future. A gazebo canopied by foliage with an LED signal added a sprint of glitz that read as "Written within the star." Wondering about the outfit of the bride and the groom? Jasleen wore a light yellow lehenga, which was embroidered with mirrors and paired it up with sleek jewellery, whereas Hartaj killed the look with his black suit and pant.

The sangeet ceremony was encapsulated in a conventional grandeur. The white and gold decor had stepped up the glamour quotient. A colossal stage that geared up the LED backdrop and quirky flamingo-themed decor is awe-inspiring for every bride-to-be. The relatives hit the dancefloor and could not stop themselves from grooving to the music. With a pink and yellow colour combination palette, Jasleen's mehendi ceremony was accentuated by marigold decorations. The bride shared the banter with her bridesmaids as she sat atop a comfortable swing and got henna etched on her palms. Jasleen radiated so much glow with the purple sharara from Akriti By Ritika and Shakun that it is not possible to take off your eyes from her.

The entrance to the venue was fantastically furnished with minimalistic white pillars flanked by blooms that made it look amazing. As the duo started with a new chapter of their lives, the wedding took place below a cover of sheer white drapes and flowers. The duo opted for a pastel-themed decor that matched the greenery of the background. The duo coordinated their outfit from Rimple & Harpreet Narula in accordance with the theme of the wedding. Jasleen's pastel-pink-hued lehenga with heavy embroidery work was surely to die for. The sequin encrusted skirt is layered with floral motifs and Mughal-esque jaalis were rendered using resham zardozi, dabka and nakshi, pearls and hand-made crystals. It was paired with an embroidered blouse and sheer dupattas in shades of blush and carnation pink. Hartaj flaunted a beige coloured sherwani and tied a pink-coloured turban. He also adorned a green-coloured beads jewellery on his neck.

Mr. and Mrs. Powar's reception was all about a fairytale coming to life. It feels like a Cinderella story with a vintage romance that radiates love in every frame. If you are a fan of vintage settings, you would surely want to have a reception like theirs. Jasleen was seen flaunting a tangerine and deep red silk lehenga from Rimple & Harpreet Narula. The base print of the lehenga is derived from the 18th-century resist-dyed cotton fragments and layered with a melange of motifs- delicate floral sprays found in Pichwai paintings, fountains and bejewelled birds of paradise; rendered with resham zardozi, vintage brocade patches, sequins and pearls. Hartaj kept his outfit simple yet elegant with a blue colour striped suit, over a white shirt and a blue striped pant.

Hartaj and Jasleen's love story had started with a casual meeting, their wedding was all about class and grandeur and their wedding pictures speak that loudly. Starting from the decor to the outfits, the couple has set some high standards for the upcoming brides and grooms to take inspiration from.
