Pierre Robert was the legendary radio host and the voice of Philadelphia. He passed away at the age of 70 on October 29, 2025. His work as a DJ on the show of 93.3 WMMR will be missed. Now, amid this, Pierre's last post on Instagram four days before his demise has surfaced on social media. It is interesting to note that four days before Pierre passed away, he was in his favourite city, Philadelphia. He was best known for his annual Christmas Eve show, which featured holiday songs, both rock and traditional.
Pierre passed away on October 29, 2025, and on October 22, 2025, which was a Sunday, he took to his social media handle to share a picture of himself. Pierre was seen lost reading a book, was sipping on a drink named, La Colombe and was in his favourite city on Earth-Philadelphia. Pierre, in his last post, was seen engrossed in reading his favourite book, and he shared the place he was staying, as he watched the world pass by lazily. Pierre wrote:
"Sunday afternoon in Philly in my beloved Rittenhouse Square, with a great book, a cup of La Colombe, watching the world lazily drift by… pretty close to perfection!"

A user seeing Pierre Robert's last picture shared, "They need to put a statue of him in Rittenhouse Square, our good citizen Pierre is so worthy." Another user shared how Pierre loved all and wrote, "What a beautiful last post, Good Citizen. Pierre is a lifelong, dear friend of mine, whom I never once had the pleasure of meeting or even talking to. he was always there to celebrate the best days with me, as well as calm me during anxious/uncertain times. The wisdom he’d impart, both directly and indirectly, was invaluable. Don’t forget to love one another, folks."

A fan of Pierre, expressing sadness, even commented, "Dearest Pierre! Just heard the news on your show that no one ever wanted to hear. You are loved and will truly be missed. The world is not the same and never will be, but we can all try to be more like you to honor you." Calling Pierre the kindest human, a fan wrote, "Omg, no ! My heart is ripped to pieces!! The kindest human! I'm so happy I got to see you enjoying the Hooters Friday with all your heart and soul as usual !! I'm going to miss you so ! Love you Pierre."

Pierre's morning show on 93.3 WMMR was all about heartfelt laughter and self-deprecating jokes on the self-made Pierre Standard Time. Amid his demise, earlier, Beasley Media Group, which owns 93.3 WMMR, had released a statement that confirmed the demise of Pierre. The sad statement read:

"A true radio icon, Pierre was one of the most recognised personalities in the City of Philadelphia," the statement read. "He joined the rock station back in 1981 and hosted the midday show with his unabashed love for music, his listeners, and the city. The legendary rock radio personality was best known for his welcoming ‘Greetings Citizens’ salutation, along with his big heart and warm voice!"
