Sonakshi Sinha's Cousin, Pooja Ruparel Breaks Silence On Rift Rumours, 'If They Were On Bad Terms..'

For the past few months, whispers of a rift between Sonakshi Sinha and her siblings have been making headlines. For the unversed, after the actress tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal in 2024, multiple reports suggested that her brothers, Luv and Kussh were missing, sparking speculations of a rift. Amid that, Sonakshi Sinha's cousin, Pooja Ruparel has finally opened up about long standing rumours about an alleged rift. 

Pooja Ruparel denies rift between Sinha siblings

Recently, during a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, Pooja Ruparel opened up about the long-standing rumours of a rift between the family. She revealed that she has met Zaheer a couple of times and finds him the 'funniest' person. She also explained if there was any rift between the siblings, then why would Luv and Sonakshi do a film together. She was quoted as saying:

"I’m not here to give gossip. I have met Zaheer, and he’s one of the funniest men I have ever met. I love him! I don’t understand how people are so jobless to discuss such things. Luv and Sonakshi have worked together in a full-fledged film, Nikita Roy. If they were on bad terms, would they have done that? The whole family appeared together on The Great Indian Kapil Show. People just love to gossip."

During the same candid conversation, Pooja Ruparel also spoke about the beautiful bond between Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal. She described their relationship as warm, genuine and full of laughter. In her words:

"There’s so much love and comfort between them. They complement each other beautifully."

During the same interview with Siddharth Kannan, Pooja Ruparel opened up about the unity between the entire Sinha family. She also spoke about the close bond with Sonakshi’s mother, Poonam Sinha and revealed that she has been the emotional anchor after Pooja lost her mother. She had shared:

"She’s seen me since childhood and has always treated me like her own. The entire family is very close-knit. People love to make stories out of thin air."

Their absence sparked questions and speculations about whether siblings were at odds over Sonakshi's marriage.
