Prakriti Kakar Gets Enaged To Entrepreneur, Vinay Anand, Reveals Her Marriage Date

Bollywood singer, Prakriti Kakar, is on cloud nine as she recently got engaged to the love of her life, Vinay Anand, who is an entrepreneur. Prakriti is known for giving some of the hit tracks from Bollywood movies like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Batti Gul Meter Chalu to name a few. It was on May 2, 2025, when Prakriti took to her Instagram handle to share an array of snaps from her engagement ceremony with Vinay that screamed love. The 29-year-old singer recently shared unknown details related to her fiancé and called her engagement with Vijay as 'bliss'.

Prakriti Kakar's pretty love story with Vinay Anand

Prakriti, a few days back, posted snaps from her engagement ceremony where she looked surreal in an off-shouldered floral dress. She was seen pouring wine with her husband to seal the deal with a kiss. The snaps revealed that the engagement took place at a nature-based place with floral-themed decoration. Vinay also went down on his knees to propose to Prakriti, and now in a latest interview with the Hindustan Times, she called her engagement union a bliss. In her words:

"I believe in keeping my personal life private until things are set to be forever. Since Vinay is not from the industry, he prefers a quiet life. [But] this isn’t something that just happened overnight, I’ve been dating this wonderful man for over three years; we always wanted to take it forward."

Looking at Prakriti and Vinay's engagement snaps, it looked like the couple exchanged rings just in front of their family members. Prakriti was seen flaunting her engagement ring, posing next to a lakeside amid greenery and white floral decor. She, in her caption, even said that everyone's love story is beautiful, but her story with Vinay has been her favourite one. She even addressed him as her fiancee.

Prakriti, going ahead in the interview, revealed her marriage plans with Vinay and shared that they would tie the knot in 2026. Recalling her proposal story, the singer shared that she was in London to attend a family wedding, and it was more of a holiday kind of thing for her. Prakriti noted:

"It was normal family time where we all were having good time enjoying at a relative's wedding until Vinay proposed in a wonderfully planned ceremony."

Prakriti also shared that her sisters, Akriti and Sukriti, kept the full thing a total secret and did not let Prakriti know about the proposal. She shared that she is feeling nothing but gratitude right now, as this is something that she had always a dream related to it and it took place in the most beautiful way.

Prakriti Kakar wants to marry after turning 30

Prakriti also noted the responsibility she has had towards her fans and shared that she got success due to the love of people, but there are a few things in life that need the right moment to be talked about. She remembered that her first song was released when she was 19, and she will soon turn 30. She noted:

"In a week's time, I will turn 30, so what better time to share this news than at a point in my life where I'm reaching a milestone and also stepping into a world where the love of my life will be with me forever."
