Prateik Babbar Copies Ranbir Kapoor As He Lifts His Bride In Arms In First Appearance After Wedding

Prateik Babbar re-started a new chapter of his life by getting married to his longtime love, Priya Banerjee, for a lifetime. However, his new beginning started on a sour note for his family, as Prateik chose not to invite his father, Raj Babbar and his family, including his step-siblings, Aarya Babbar and Juhi Babbar.

Instead of a lavish wedding, Prateik chose to get married in a simple way at his late mother, Smita Patil's first home she bought in Mumbai. In the first appearance as Mr and Mrs Babbar, Prateik and Priya share a lip kiss in front of Paps. They greeted them with folded hands. While Priya was blushing Prateik madly looked into her eyes. 

However, it was one instance that made us think Prateik Babbar tried copying Ranbir Kapoor as he lifted his bride, Priya in his arms, just like the Barfi actor did on his wedding day in 2022.

Prateik Babbar's bride wore a corset with a lehenga for the wedding

For the wedding, Prateik chose a clean-shaven look, and he wore an ivory gold-toned open sherwani. He looked no less than royalty with Maharaja pagdi and a dhoti. Talking about the bride, Priya looked whimsical in an ivory gold-hued lehenga. She ditched the usual choli and opted for a corset, which added a touch of uniqueness to her look.

Bride's look was accentuated with a polki and emerald choker, a maang teeka and matching earrings. Her hair was tied in a bun, and subtle makeup with soft eyes and pink-toned cheeks completed her bridal look. In the first photo, the couple is seen sharing a lip lock, while in another photo, Prateik kisses his lady's love's hand. Sharing the photos, he wrote:

"I’ll marry you in every lifetime."

Prateik Babbar didn't invite his father, Raj Babbar to his wedding

Everyone was left shocking when the news broke down that Prateik Babbar chose not to invite his father, Raj Babbar to his second wedding. In fact, he didn't even called his step-siblings, Juhi and Aarya to the wedding. In an interview with ETimes, Aarya revealed that someone has brainwashed him, as he doesn't want to connect with anyone from the family. He was quoted as saying:

"I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He is not wanting to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone."
