Prateik Babbar is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The son of actors, Raj Babbar and the late Smita Patil, Prateik made his screen debut with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. Apart from that, he was also seen in movies like Dum Maaro Dum, Aarakshan, Dhobi Ghat, Chhichhore, and Baaghi 2 among so many others. Talking about his personal life, the actor has been in a steady relationship with actress, Priya Banerjee. And now, as per the reports, the duo has already taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged to one another.
As per a recent report by the ETimes, Prateik Babbar proposed to Priya Banerjee on November 26, 2023, just two days before the actor's birthday. And to this, the actress said 'yes'. Talking about how Prateik proposed to Priya, a close source revealed that the actor went down on his knee and asked his lady love to be his partner for life. Sharing more details about the same, the source also added that the duo decided to skip a major engagement ceremony, and they will celebrate the same joyous ceremony during their wedding. The source can be quoted as saying:
"It was just two days before his birthday. We saw it coming, they are one of the most adorable couples. Prateik went on one knee and proposed to Priya asking her to be his for life. The friends cannot wait for the wedding”.

It was on February 14, 2023, when Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee took to their respective IG handles and dropped two love-filled photos as they made their relationship official. While in one photo, the much-in-love couple could be seen standing on their balcony and enjoying the scenic view, another photo featured similar kinds of tattoos that the duo opted for.
Priya got inked with the letters 'P' and 'B' along with a heart and an infinity sign on his collarbone. Prateik had a similar tattoo on the tops of his fingers, and it was all adorable and spoke volumes about their love for one another. It is worth mentioning that the duo had been dating each other for years before they made it Insta official.
For those who don't know, Prateik Babbar was earlier married to Sanya Sagar. After dating one another for a while, the duo decided to hop onto the forever journey in 2019. However, things turned upside down as Prateik and Sanya got divorced only one year after their marriage owing to some irreconcilable issues.
Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes in 2023, Priya Banerjee was asked about his marriage plans. To this, the actress mentioned that Prateik had been focused on his professional life. Sharing that eventually they would get married, the actress said when they would get married, there would be a huge announcement regarding the same.

When asked about Prateik Babbar's past, Priya said that the former didn't hide it from her, which she thought was respectful. Talking more about her bonding with Prateik, Priya revealed how they are 'great buddies' and family-oriented.
