Prateik Babbar's Mehendi Photos Surfaces, After Bride Dismissed Reports Of Not Inviting His Family

Prateik Babbar got married to his longtime love, Priya Banerjee, on the occasion of Valentine's Day, i.e. February 14, 2025. While he kickstarted a fresh new chapter of his life, it was his father and his family that was left deeply upset as they were not invited to the most important day of his life. However, things took a more drastic turn as his wife, Priya, denied the reports of not inviting his family and sarcastically commented on the Babbar family's dynamics.

On February 18, 2025, Priya took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from their mehendi ceremony. The newly-married couple chose ivory-toned for their wedding, but for mehendi, they went all hearts in red hues. Prateik was dressed up in a red-toned kurta with a jacket.

Talking about his bride, Priya wore a red lehenga from Devnaagri. She styled her lehenga with a bralette-style choli and a matching sheer dupatta. Priya added stars to her look, including heavy earrings and heavy tassels attached to her hairstyle and a maang teeka. Soft and subtle makeup with a tiny black bindi completed her look. Another highlight of her look was her minimal mandala mehendi. 

Priya Banerjee denied not inviting Prateik's family to their wedding and took a dig at the Babbar family's claims

After Raj Babbar's children from his first marriage, Juhi Babbar and Arya Babbar, openly bashed Prateik Babbar for cutting his ties with them and not inviting them to the wedding, his wife, Priya Banerjee, came in defence of him. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Priya revealed that no family member missed their celebrations.

Priya further added that these are just rumours that family members were not invited, as Prateik's aunts, who raised him, his nana-nani, and everyone who mattered to them were present there. She was quoted as saying:

"There was absolutely no family member who was missing from the wedding or our celebrations. I don’t know why there are rumours that “family members" were absent. Our families where there including my parents, his aunts who raised him, his nana-nani and everyone who mattered and is family was with us. And there was absolutely nobody who is family was missing."

As soon as Prateik Babbar's second wedding photos and videos surfaced on the internet, a roast video by his step-brother, Arya Babbar, also made rounds. The stand-up comedian was seen taking a nasty dig at his brother's second wedding. He trolled him by stating that their father, Raj Babbar, was married twice, and his sister, Juhi Babbar, also got married twice.

Not only this, Arya even included Prateik Babbar, who also got married for the second time. Jokingly, he added that his dog also has two girlfriends. Further, he expressed how he also wants to get married again, but he is scared of the complications of divorce.
