Fans of the influencer had their suspicions when Babydoll Archi, a.k.a Archita Phukan, changed her name to Amira Ishtara. In a shocking turn of events, the mastermind behind creating a fake profile of 'Babydoll Archi' is none other than a man called Pratim Bora from Assam's Dibrugarh.

In a shocking turn of events, Pratim recently got arrested in Dibrugarh after, in anger, he opened up a fake social media account under the impersonating influencer name of Archita Phukan. It was on July 12, 2025, when Pratim was arrested after Archita's family filed a police complaint. However, who is Pratim, and why did he do what he did?

Pratim was once upon a time in love with an Assam-based influencer called Archita Phukan. He has reportedly studied mechanical engineering reportedly from Tinsukia. After his breakup with Archita, he made use of AI-based tools such as Midjourney, Desire AI, and OpenArt AI to make deep fake pictures and videos with the help of Archita's face in the genre of adult-based and explicit content. Pratim also made pictures with US-based adult star, Kendra Lust and monetised the content through which he earned Rs. 10 lakh via the subscriptions.

Pratim Bora resided in Tinsukia

Pratim has been a resident of Tinsukia and has operated Archita's deep fake account for weeks and earned revenue. He took her snaps from her earlier social media postings without her approval, put AI software into the same and then injected explicit materials to defame her. The most dangerous move made by Pratim was to morph Archita's pictures next to adult movie star, Kendra, which got dropped online from the fake account. Through selling Archita's deepfake adult content, Pratim wanted to defame Archita and also earn money from the same. Pratim then shared these AI snaps through exclusive premium handles such as varied Telegram channels, subscription-oriented sites and varied groups.

Pratim Bora sought revenge from Archita Phukan after the breakup of a long-term relationship hurt him

It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold. When Archita and Kendra's snaps went viral, they garnered over a million followers. Archita had no option but to file an FIR, and Bora was tracked down via his IP address. Then, on June 12, 2025, in Tinsukia, his arrest took place. When the police seized his devices, Pratim confessed to the crime he shared that due to the breakup, he wanted to take revenge. Pratim shared of using Archita's past snaps and the help of AI to seek revenge after the separation. Pratim did confess that he was frustrated and wanted full-on revenge from Phukan.

Reports suggest that Pratim and Archita were together for a while, but then, like many, they parted ways. Pratim was disturbed and could not handle the separation. Instead of choosing to move ahead in his life, Pratim went on a digital revenge mode as he was jealous, angry and tried his best to use AI tools to destroy the image of Archita for his motive and to make her look characterless.

Pratim Bora had gone underground, stayed on rent

The Assam police authorities had alleged that Pratim went underground, but after a deep investigation, his cellphone signals were recorded, found and traced via his IP address. He did not even have his own flat in Tinsukia, as he was living on rent, and the cops picked him up from there. He claims of doing it all owing to the hurt caused by Archita.
