And since then, their fans have gone berserk with happiness. From friends and family to many B-town celebs, everyone has been posting congratulatory notes for the couple.

Post announcing the news of their pregnancy, the son-to-be parents, Deepika and Ranveer jetted off to Jamnagar to attend the pre-wedding ceremonies of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The couple looked the happiest as they twinned in white ensembles. Deepika looked stunning in a white-hued knitted oversized sweater, which she teamed with matching white-hued palazzo pants. Ranveer, on the other hand, donned a white-hued sweatshirt with matching pants and a cap.

As soon as the couple reached the Jamnagar airport, the crowd gathered outside the airport went crazy and started congratulating Ranveer and Deepika. From shouting to shaking hands, the crowd mobbed the duo. We also witnessed Ranveer protecting Deepika from the mob. However, the mayhem outside the Jamnagar airport was quite shocking.

It was on February 29, 2024, when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared the happiest news of their lives with their fans. In a collaborative post, Ranveer and Deepika announced that they are soon going to welcome their first child. Dropping a sweet picture note with cute baby booties and onesies illustration, the couple revealed their due month and shared that their baby is due in September 2024.

Rumours about Deepika Padukone’s pregnancy had been making the headlines for quite some time. The rumours got more mileage after the acttess was seen clad in a Sabyasachi saree on the 77th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) red carpet. Later, in a report in the magazine, The Week, a source close to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh revealed that the duo is expecting their first child. The source further mentioned that Deepika is in her second trimester of pregnancy.
