Veteran actor, Prem Chopra has not been keeping good health lately. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on November 8, 2025. The 92-year-old actor reportedly was admitted because of a viral infection and age-related complications. According to a report by the PTI, Prem Chopra's admission to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital was confirmed by cardiologist, Dr. Nitin Gokhale.
Prem Chopra was hospitalised in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, reportedly due to chest congestion and complications that occurred because of a viral infection. According to PTI, Prem has been admitted to the hospital since November 8, 2025, and has left his fans very worried and concerned. The publication's report also mentioned that Prem is currently recovering well, has been under professional care, and is on the road to recovery.

Prem Chopra is being looked after by cardiologist, Dr. Nitin Gokhale. He told the publication in the interview that Prem's health issue case was related to his cardiac system, and also the fact that the veteran actor has been suffering from a viral infection. Dr. Jalil Parkar from the hospital told the media that the actor was not in the ICU but in the general ward. His statement read:
"He is a known case of cardiac ailment and he also had a viral infection, and that’s why I’m treating him for the lungs. He is not in the ICU; he is in the ward. He is 92 years old and he has age-related issues because of which his recovery takes a little time. He should be fine in another three-four days and go home."

Well, actor, Sharman Joshi, who married Prem Chopra's daughter, Prerana Chopra, shared that his father-in-law was doing well and would undergo a few tests in the coming days. Well, Prem's fans can relax as he has been under the supervision of their family cardiologist, Dr. Nitin Gokhale, post he got a heart-related issue apart from a lung infection, which was triggered by a virus.

Dr. Jalil Parker stated that Prem's condition was such that he required hospitalisation, but he was kept in the standard ward as his condition appeared to be stable. Prem Chopra's family reportedly also confirmed to the publication that Prem's condition looked stable as he was under observation for about three to four days. Prem Chopra is expected to be discharged in the upcoming four days, if his recovery goes well as per the assumptions.
