Once, in an old interview with ANI, Gautam Adani opened up about his wife, Priti Adani and credited her for always making bold decisions. The billionaire also thanked Priti for choosing him despite having better and more qualified options on the table. At the end of his statement, Gautam clearly stated that Priti is the 'most important reason' behind his success.
Priti Adani was born in 1965 into a Gujarati family. She got married to Gautam Adani in 1986 in an arranged marriage. At the time of their wedding, while Priti was just 21, Gautam was 24.

After their wedding, Priti founded the Adani Foundation in 1996 with the aim of reaching out to the remotest places of the country to fill the gaps between urban and rural. The foundation is actively working on a series of streams like education, public health, rural infrastructure development and sustainable livelihood. As of now, the Adani Foundation works in over 5,753 villages and 18 states across the country.
Talking about Preeti Adani's educational qualifications, she completed her graduation in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Gujarat's prestigious institute, Government Dental College. As per multiple reports, Priti worked in the field of dentistry for some time before joining her husband in his business venture. After the dentist-turned-businesswoman founded the Adani Foundation, she became one of the leading women educators in Gujarat in the following years.

On one side, while Gautam Adani was making crucial changes in the Adani Group, his wife, Priti Adani, was also committed to proving the mettle of the Adani Foundation in the CSR space.
One of the biggest and noteworthy changes that we have witnessed under the leadership of Priti Adani is the decision she made as per Adani Group's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) budget. For the uninitiated, back in 2017-2018, Adani Group's CSR budget was around Rs. 95 crores. However, in the 2018-19 tenture, Gautam Adani increased the budget to Rs. 128 crore on Priti's advice.
Gautam Adani's wife, Priti Adani, proved the mettle of her leadership skills during the COVID-19 pandemic when she decided to help people with the Adani Foundation. From providing PPE kits to frontline workers to delivering necessary medical equipment to doctors, the Adani Foundation indeed played an important role in the miserable situation.

Once, in an old interview, Priti Adani opened up about her decision to quit dentistry. The renowned businesswoman revealed that she had two choices in life a few decades back, and she chose the Adani Foundation. Sharing more details about the same, Priti shared that when she was working as a dentist, she was helping over a hundred people, but the real reason why she chose to build the Adani Foundation was her desire to help thousands. She said:
"I had two options presented to me -- I could either help a few hundred people as a dentist or I could help thousands through the work of our foundation."
Priti Adani is happily married to Gautam Adani, and they are parents of two sons, Karan Adani and Jeet Adani. Talking about Priti Adani's wealth, she has an estimated net worth of Rs. 8,327 crore. Despite leading one of the biggest names in the CSR space, Priti Adani never makes it into the headlines, as she prefers to live a life away from the media spotlight.
