Priya Malik is one of the most popular television personalities, who rose to fame with her stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 9. Moreover, she has also garnered widespread fame with her identity as a poet, whose verses etch a mark deep in the hearts of the audiences. Fast forward to now, the diva is all set to move over to a new chapter of her life, along with her dearest husband, Karan Bakshi.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Priya Malik announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Karan Bakshi, and her baby is due in the month of April this year. Talking more about the beautiful phase of her life, Priya revealed that it was last year when she had an unplanned pregnancy, but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. Moreover, she added that although she had freezed her eggs in advance, she was nevertheless overjoyed to conceive naturally. Adding how people shy away from talking about miscarriages, Priya said:
“People talk about pregnancy, but not miscarriage. That was a difficult phase. I remember how after I got pregnant again, every ultrasound would feel like an exam that you are scared that you may fail. You don’t know when to celebrate with everyone. You don’t know whether to feel anxious, excited, or nervous, but gradually, you do learn to trust your body."

Moving further in the conversation, Priya Malik then shed light on the kind of mommy she aspires to become for her soon-to-be-born child. She quipped that she always be deeply immersed in love for her child, and become extremely clingy and protective. Moreover, her child will always have her support no matter what. In her words:
“When I love, I love completely. I immerse myself. But I'll always be supportive."
Back on October 9, 2022, Priya Malik got hitched to the man of her dreams, Karan Bakshi in an intimate Gurudwara wedding. The couple exuded pure happiness and joy, while twinning in pastel hued outfits. Interestingly, their wedding venue was the same place when Karan’s parents got married. While Priya looked breathtaking in a blush pink lehenga, Karan looked dapper in a cream-hued sherwani.

For the unversed, Priya Malik was earlier married to Bhushan Malik. However, their marriage was short-lived and they got divorced in 2018. Within a year, she crossed paths with Delhi-based techie, Karan Bakshi and they exchanged rings within a short span of time. With so many incidents happening in her personal life, Priya always ensured to keep it a secret from the public eye. Previously, in an interview with BollywoodLife, she talked about the same and mentioned why she finally decided to go public about her marriage with Karan. In her words:
“This is going to be my second marriage. And I had not announced my divorce publicly. So I was being really private about our relationship. And since our relationship has finally been accepted, we decided to make it public.”
